Just so you know, parking enforcement by the City of Savannah is effective from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, while parking is free on the weekends from Friday at 5 PM to Monday at 8 AM.
To handle meters, purchasing a "Visitors Parking Day Pass" for all day/night parking is recommended. Travelers coming with a vehicle can buy a City of Savannah Day Pass for $24 for 48 hours or $15 for 24 hours. These passes are available at the Visitors Information Center or the Parking Services office at 100 East Bryan Street (Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM). Additionally, the Park Savannah app simplifies the payment process for weekday parking.
