Quiet and Relaxing - Just What We Wanted

Check-in was so easy! The owners were helpful and attentive but not overbearing. The house was very clean, comfortable, and modern. We loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen and soaking in the hot tub, watching and listening to the wildlife. We saw deer grazing, hummingbirds, bright tanagers, and squirrels. It was so peaceful!

Great vacation house

Knotty Pines was a great home base for our ski trip. 2 families with teens (7 people total) had plenty of space in the beautiful house. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace daily. Kitchen was well stocked as we prepared most meals at the house.Communication with the host was excellent and the house was as described in the listing. We had an issue with the hot tub which was quickly resolved. We are looking forward to coming back again!!

Property was a comfortable space for our group. House was stocked with all of the necessities and the endless supply of firewood was great! Hot tub stays heated and ready to go with separate towels. All kitchen appliances are new including the washer and dryer which was awesome to have. The filtered water feature inside the fridge was great for our thirsty bunch especially after we ran out of bottled waters.Beds and mattresses are new and firm which we prefer and appreciate. Bathroom towels are on the thin side so if you prefer plush pack your own. Also, no tissue boxes so if you’re allergy prone, you will go through the tp quickly. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the deck. Our young adult kids loved sitting outside by the fire making s’mores and enjoying drinks.Easy 15 minute walk on the paved road to Tamarack Resort for dinner and drinks in the evening and a super close drive to Tamarack Marina for any water rentals, just park at Poison Creek Campground. Closest full grocery store is in McCall so pack accordingly. There is a small store at Tamarack Village but limited and pricey. Would recommend Knotty Pines and are thankful to Brian Kelly for the great communication.

Pretty Dang Awesome

I want to give a nod to the management team around this property. They gave us some Christmas decorations, including stockings and a Christmas tree, put us in contact with a private chef for Christmas dinner to make it completely stress-free, and went the extra mile of getting in contact with the owner when we needed some help with the Internet and television settings. This is a gorgeous property, very clean, and only moments away from Tamarack Village. So, you have access to a full ski resort, bars, and restaurants, and a small shop for provisions very close by. The closest “real” grocery store is in McCall. The Albertsons is very well provisioned as is the natural foods market a little closer to your home. Thank you for making our stay such a relaxing respite from the craziness of the holidays. Highly recommended!
