This charming property features a well-appointed guest bedroom: a recently built (2020) "mother-in-law suite" with a plush queen bed. You'll find two modern bathrooms—one with a relaxing tub/shower combination, and the other featuring a sleek subway-tiled large walk-in shower.
Enjoy access to a range of amenities, including Roku TVs, WiFi, air conditioning, heating, and an in-home washer/dryer. We also provide high-thread-count white linens and towels to enhance your stay.
Step outside to a gardened semi-private, serene back patio that opens up to a neighborhood playground, pickleball, and basketball courts. Happy Valley Winery is just a 5-minute walk away via the neighborhood's bike path. Relax on the front or back patios and enjoy the sights and sounds of the active bird feeders.
Please note: While our personal bedrooms will remain locked, the downstairs guest room and common areas are fully available for your enjoyment.

Hi, I’m Sarah! My family and I have loved living in our State College home for 10 years. You can hear the bells of Old Main from our back patio. Hosting lets us travel with our kids while welcoming guests to enjoy Happy Valley.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it’s peaceful, family-friendly, and close to everything we love about State College. There’s a playground, volleyball and basketball courts just steps away, and we’re minutes from downtown, Penn State, and local wineries. It’s quiet and relaxing, yet close to all the energy of Happy Valley—our favorite balance.
What makes this property unique
Our home combines comfort and convenience with special touches for a memorable stay. Guests enjoy the open floor plan, cozy gas fireplace, and large TV for game days or movie nights.
