Nestled amongst 30 stunning 400-year-old live oak trees and situated on a deep water creek with a floating dock, The Hut boasts Southern charm and an unbeatable location just 1 mile from the Charleston Executive Airport. Relaxation is guaranteed with restful vibes and easy access to Downtown Charleston, Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. And for foodies, the local Lowcountry Gullah Cuisine won't disappoint. This year, The Hut just got a little more charming with the addition of our own farmer, Caroline, who’s filling the fields with wildflowers and fresh seasonal vegetables.

We loved this absolutely charming home that had everything we needed. The location was perfect; convenient to everything downtown Charleston has to offer while also being just enough away from the hustle and bustle to have some quiet. The sunrises were spectacular and I found myself sitting on the dock with coffee every morning and a glass of wine every evening. I loved this so much!

We spent a long weekend on this property, and enjoyed both the beautiful land and the cozy home. We found everything that we needed in the kitchen, the bedrooms and the pantry!Jane was wonderful! The marsh is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The home was dated but comfortable and spacious. We practically lived on the screened in porch watching the changing of the tides, the marsh birds, and the majestic sun rises.

Communication with manager was easy. She was as nice as can be. House was very "Old Country Home” but in the best way. Reasonable driving distance from just about anything you could want to do. My family and dogs loved it.

Thanksgiving in Charleston

Heaven on Earth

What a perfect location among the huge old live oaks. This location is absolutely perfect, you are not close to neighbors, and as I titled it, it's heaven on earth. Beautiful view over the marsh and tidal creek, the sunrises were absolutely beautiful. Fishing was awesome.Couldn't ask for anything better. We are all ready planning home return trips here. Jane, the owner was absolutely wonderful. A true showing of southern hospitality. Can't wait to get back here!

Perfect weekend

The property was perfect, we held our daughter’s wedding ceremony under the gorgeous trees and it was absolutely beautiful! Every guest commented how breathtaking the property was. It was so peaceful, we saw turkey, deer, turtles, an alligator, and some many birds. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Relaxing time in a beautiful setting

We loved this property!! It was so quiet, peaceful, private, beautiful and relaxing. We played games and had our meals on the wonderful screened porch. Having the ability to kayak on site was so convenient. Sitting on the dock to enjoy the sunset was a great way to end the day. Jane was incredibly accommodating before and throughout our stay!
