We have oil fired hot water and central heating in the house. Our utility room has a washing machine, dryer and freezer. The main bathroom has an electric shower, so is hot instantly. Our home has mountain spring water. For drinking use the cold tap at the kitchen sink as it comes direct from the spring.
We have a lovely solid fuel stove in the sitting room. We will leave some turf by the fire. The stove gets really hot so use the glove to open and close the door. There is a silver bin outside the back door for ashes. There are some games and playing cards in the press in the sitting room. The washing machine and dryer are in the utility room, if using the dryer could you please put the hose out the window. The Stone House is comfortable and roomy, surrounded by indescribable beauty. We enjoyed seeing the cows and calves from the kitchen window every day. Veronica was friendly and helpful and not intrusive at all. We felt very much at home. We will have many happy memories of our stay in Clare.
I’ve stayed all over the world with VRBO and this is one of my favorites. Veronica was a lovely, welcoming and helpful host. The cottage is clean and charming. We we in heaven with surroundings and live the village. Don’t search any further. You’ve found your place.
Veronica was the best. Friendly, helpful and had great suggestions. The house was so nice. My adult kids and grandkids felt it was perfect. It was in the best place for us to go see what we wanted to. The views were beautiful. The bay across the street and the cows outside the kitchen window, with the mountains beyond. I saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was very comfortable and felt like home away from home. Hated to leave.
