The cabin was as nice ,clean and roomy as advertised. The host was easy to get in touch with when needed. The problem we had was that the cabin number was not easy visible from the road which we missed causing us unnecessary traveling time searching for it.

i’m sorry to hear they passed it. they are the first ones ever to say this! i advise to get complete gps directions before going thru the guard gate
The house was clean warm and decorated for Christmas! We had a blast for a short weekend! The kids and grown ups enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! We would definitely stay again!
Home is well maintained and very close to everything we did Host was very quick to reply to any questions we had thanks for a lovely weekend Will stay again if we come back to Helen anytime soon
The house is excellent for a big family! Very clean and is decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend for a trip to Helen. We come pretty much once a year and our kids commented this was their favorite place we have stayed so far. The pool table was a hit! Communication from the owner is outstanding!
Lovely quiet neighborhood, once we found the home! Warning - do not use Apple Maps as it does not take you there! When I switched to Google maps it was around the corner from Apple's location. Home was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and the gas fireplace was a plus in created a festive family vacation.
House was beautiful! There was some maintenance issues the owner was working on (needed parts on backorder). Twelve adults ages 43 to 63, plenty of space to move around, room to socialize comfortably all together.

Nice group. And yes do to COVID hot tub parts are unavailable. making our motor loud. But it still works!
We actually didnt stay at this particular location due to an issue with the water heater. The owner contacted me a few days prior to our trip and informed me the water heater was out and wouldnt be fixed prior to our stay. She did offer one of her other houses in the same area as an option for out kids and friends. The house we stayed at was great and we enjoyed our time there.

My stay at this home was very enjoyable. However, I was not pleased that we were not able to have full access to the home till after 5:30pm and there were still clothes in the washing machine that we had to put in the dryer. There were dishes in the dishwasher that had not been put up. Bathroom tub not cleaned downstairs. I am only giving this a 5 star because the home was perfect for me and my guests, but I was not pleased with the cleaning nor the communication from the host.

Wonderful trip & roomy house
We stayed for a weekend Helen getaway to celebrate my mother-in-laws 50th birthday. We had 8 adults & there was plenty of space to fit our large bunch comfortably. It's right behind the main street of Helen shopping, the longest drive is getting out of the gated neighborhood. I would definitely book our next stay here again!! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the beds need new mattresses. They were not supportive & I already have lower back pain. Other than that, the place is absolutely perfect!! :-)

We are replacing several mattress pads with memory foam. But they are still all very good.
We have used this home several times. We have been going go Helen for years and its our favorite to stay in during Oktoberfest! Very convienent to Helen! I will note that we were not very satisfied with the cookware. Many things in the home needs updating but most of all, the cookware. For a home that sleeps so many, the pots there were not large enough to accommodate us and they were falling apart. We will definitely be back! We hope some updates will be made. Thanks Sue!

Good For Groups
Cost and location were great. Layout was very good for multiple families. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Very quiet and well maintained neighborhood. Owner was also very responsive. That being said, listing states check in is after 4PM and after driving 9 hours, I expected to be able to enter the property at that time. However, 5 minutes before check in, owner informed me check in would be after 5 PM...ok, not what I wanted to hear but I can deal with that, well at 5:30 PM the cleaning crew was still there. When cleaner finally finished and we were able to enter the property, we found dishes in the dishwasher and wet towels in the washing machine. Mattresses were also very uncomfortable and need updating. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but the few inconveniences did take away from the experience.
Property was clean and location was great. Not far from town. We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and pool table were fun while relaxing at the house and the beds were comfortable.

Although we live in a very desireable vacation area, Palm Beach County Florida, we long for a change of weather, and finally were able to purchase this beautiful home in Helen. Where we get to zip line, hike tube, wine taste horseback ride and shop.
Why they chose this property
After surviving several Hurricanes, we decided we needed to NOT HAVE ALL OUR EGGS IN THE SAME (Palm Beach) BASKET! So I remembered Helen as being one of my favorite family destinations that was safe from hurricanes. I set out to find a great house that was easily accessible, without a steep driveway, in town close to the fun, with city water.
What makes this property unique
I wanted a safe place where the house would not be destroyed by vandals if it was empty and since it is in a upscale gated golf development with sleeping space for 12 and high ceilings beautiful distressed wood, 4 porches a hot tub, and fire pit. This was the one!
