Minnesota Point Beach House 1-Spectacular Lake Superior View

This is the perfect place for a getaway! There are miles of sandy beach along the shore of Lake Superior right out the back door. You are close (4 blocks) to the aerial lift bridge, Canal Park, and downtown Duluth. The house was newly remodeled in the spring of 2012 to include fireplace and sauna. Main level and upstairs have amazing views of Lake Superior (you can see the lake while relaxing in the claw-foot tub). Downstairs includes washer/dryer, Foosball, and air-hockey table.

This is an excellent place to stay. The rooms upstairs were larger than I expected and the view of the lake from the main bedroom was spectacular. There is direct access to the beach from the backyard. The kitchen was well equipped.

Amazing view of the lake with direct walk out to the beach! Just right across the lift bridge from Canal Park.The house is clean and offers all the basics of home such as linens, pots and pans, silverware, cleaning supplies.The owners are always a delight to work with and very responsive! Our stay was fantastic! Hosts did a great job. Nice to have the beach there, but no fault to owners, there's a fence in front of the rental placed by the city; it hindered the beauty and our access to the water after sauna. And we'd hoped to have a fire to roast marshmallows; not sure why that's not permitted (?). But we really enjoyed a sunrise beach walk and seeing the Queen of the Lakes, Paul R. Tregurtha, come into port. Great experience! We enjoyed our stay.
