BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Both upstairs bedrooms feature window AC units, ceiling fans, 55” Smart TVs, and ample storage. - Master Suite: A California king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a double-sink vanity and a smart toilet with a bidet. - Guest Suite: Two twin XL beds that can be converted into a California King upon request. - A second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a washer and dryer are also located on the second floor.

GUEST ACCESS Guests will have private access to the entire two-story condo, with the exception of a few clearly marked and locked owner's closets. Self-check-in is simple and secure with a digital keypad.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE - Registration Number: PL-STVR-2024-000966 - Property Layout: This is a two-story condo unit located on the building's second floor. There is no elevator. Both bedrooms and both full bathrooms are on the condo's upper level. - Amenities: Air conditioning is provided in the bedrooms only. The main living area is cooled by a large ceiling fan and island breezes. The fireplace is decorative and not operational. - Parking: Only one dedicated parking spot is included. Additional vehicles must be parked off-site (e.g., the plaza across the road). Parking in designated guest spots for over 4 hours, vehicle swapping, or using other reserved spots will result in a $100 fine from the HOA. - No pets permitted. - No smoking permitted inside or outside the unit. $500 fine will be imposed if there is an evidence of smoking both inside and outside. Also if ‘no smoking’ rule is not followed the reservation will be cancelled without any refund. - Like all Hawaii short-term vacation rentals, Sunglide Vacations Suite has mandatory quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. - Safety & Privacy: For your security, exterior security cameras are located on the property. A noise monitoring device is in the living room to ensure quiet hours are respected; it only measures decibel levels and does not record audio or video. - Island Living: Hawaii’s tropical climate means you may encounter local wildlife and insects like bugs, cockroaches, ants, and geckos. Keeping screen doors closed and the unit clean will help minimize their presence. Pest sightings are not grounds for refunds. - Travel Disclosure: Travel to a remote island has inherent risks. The owner is not liable and will not issue refunds for disruptions beyond our control, such as flight changes, natural events (volcanoes, tsunamis), utility outages, or other emergencies. By booking, you assume all responsibility for these risks.

A beautiful unit that made us feel at home. Our host is amazing did everything in her power to make sure we were taken care of. Great host and great place.
Great property. I was surprised by the number of chickens and roosters all over the big island. So regardless of where you stay, I recommend bringing ear plugs.

Overall it was a nice unit, only about 10 or 12 minutes away from shopping locations. I enjoyed watching out the back from the deck or Lanai and listening to the bird life. One thing I did not like about the unit was that it had roaches and some of the beach items to use were broken. Probably wouldn't start again due to the roaches and owner not seeming to be very concerned about that. Hoping they don't come home with us!

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting of the lanai and the convenient location of the condo.
Regarding the roaches, these are unfortunately part of the natural Hawaii fauna and are common throughout the islands — even in the cleanest homes and resorts. This is clearly stated in our listing description so guests know what to expect. We also maintain regular professional pest control, including just before your stay, and that is truly the maximum that can be done in Hawaii’s tropical climate.
As for the beach gear: this was only brought to my attention on your final day, and I had all broken items replaced the very next day. Had I known earlier, I would have arranged same-day delivery through my local manager.

We enjoyed our month long stay at this property. Great communication, well stocked supplies and comfortable beds. We survived the floods of Hawaii and were very fortunate the apartment complex and area were not impacted. Hope to return in the future.

Why they chose this property
Waikoloa Village has a unique climate - very much alike with California, where I live. Not very humid, like Kona, but not too rainy like Hilo, in other words, it’s perfect:)
What makes this property unique
It’s not unique, but my husband and I did almost all the renovations by ourselves and very proud of our accomplishments and how it now reflects our vision of Hawaii. It’s a quite complex without lots of tourists, so you won’t be fighting over the spot near the pool or the grill. Also very convenient location: 5 minutes by foot to KTA supermarket and 15 minutes by car to the very best beaches Big Island has to offer!
