We had two different family groups for 4 nights each. The house including annex was great. Multiple laundries were also a plus. Hot tub was well used .great experience and Boone and blowing rock were easy to get back to.
We had a fantastic stay in Boone for Homecoming! The cabin comfortably accommodated our large group and had everything we needed—a fully stocked kitchen, modern appliances, and plenty of towels and washcloths. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful, and we especially loved the common areas that gave everyone different spaces to gather. We also used the guest home and loved how convenient it was. Even with a rainy weekend, there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves indoors. The only uncomfortable moment was when the property manager entered the home without announcing herself or any advance notice. We had asked the owner about using the EV charger for one vehicle, and he explained that it was for personal use only, which we respected. When we spoke with a gentleman outside to ask if everything was okay, he explained that the owner had asked his wife, the property manager, to make sure the charger was locked because they had been having issues with it. We would have appreciated a heads-up from the owner, especially since she entered the home while we were there.Overall, we had a wonderful time and would love to stay again!
The property and the house are beautiful. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. The only issue we had was the internet wasn’t working, but was resolved within the first day or so that we were there. As mentioned in previous reviews the light switches are different, but not too difficult to figure out. The deck was a wonderful place to hang out with morning coffee and to unwind in the evening. The beds were comfortable. We knew from previous reviews to being extra bath towels and kitchen towels so we had plenty. The area offers a lot to do and we all had a wonderful time.
Host was always available to answer any questions before and during our stay. The home was lovely and the views were beautiful. Great location and accommodations were perfect.
A wonderful house to stay in. Very spacious ,kitchen fully equipped, hot tub was a highlight, the view from all the balconies were breathtaking. Master bedroom was amazing. House was very clean and had everything you needed.
We had a fun time while staying at the cabin in the mountains. My brothers & our adult children played games, hiked and tried some local breweries while visiting. The hot tub made for a great way to relax at the end of the day.
We love this beautiful home. It is our third or 4 year staying here and we are already looking forward to next year. Thank you, Jim for sharing your beautiful home with us.
The host was extremely responsive and helped us with getting our questions answered. He quickly responded to texts when we had questions about the heat, fireplace, gas grill, etc.
Beautiful home in lovely location. The size and ability to add the guest house make this perfect for a large group with plenty of bathrooms and large common spaces!
We had a wonderful time at the property- it was very accommodating for our large extended family! Location was great to pop into Boone or Blowing Rock!
The house was fantastic. Easily handled the 20 members of our family staying there, ranging from age 3 to 71. The beds were comfy, kitchens perfect, deck outstanding, and the views were incredible. Communication with the host was immediate and extremely helpful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Can’t wait to stay again with my family.
We had a great family stay on this property as we celebrated our son's graduation. It worked perfectly in terms of its location to booth Boone and the parks and hiking located nearby. The house worked well for our group providing plenty of room for meals and relaxing -- with a great outside view on the deck.
We did an early Thanksgiving with our family and had a wonderful time. The house was plenty big for our family of 20. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the fire pit was a hit!
Stayed here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from App State! The home is absolutely gorgeous with every detail thought of. It made her graduation weekend even more special! Jim was wonderful to work with and mage some last minute accommodations and made the process easy! We will definitely be back!
We planned a ski trip that included four families with children 3-9 years old. The main and guest house fit everyone comfortably. The house is beautiful and the views are incredible! It was about a 20 minute drive to Appalachian Ski Mtn, which was also great for young families.
Played golf and tennis everyday
The house is gorgeous and was clean and the property manager was always available and very well organized. The second year on a row we stayed there and will keep returning!!!
