We enjoyed our time at the lakehouse! The view was beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and condiments, which we really appreciated! Thank you for a great stay!
Had a super pleasant stay and a great weekend on the water. House was great and conveniently located on the marina.

We enjoyed hosting Sam and his crew. They were respectable and followed the house rules. Our cleaning staff also gave them high marks. Sam is welcome to stay anytime.
Great home with excellent views of the lake from a hill vantage point. The kitchen had everything you'd need and the layout was great. We Loved having bfast on the deck listening to birds and then at night playing yatzee looking at the stars. Great spot.
This is a very nice property. Clean and comfortable. The views of the marina and mountains is beautiful. Too bad it was cold and rainy. I might come back in better weather to enjoy all this porches. The house is nicely stocked with anything we could need.
The house had an amazing view of the waterfront and had a very relaxing porch to sit on in the evenings. We had 5 adults (2 couples and a friend) and everyone still had plenty of space to themselves. The door code messed up upon arrival but the property owner quickly responded and resolved the issue.
The six of us are in our mid 70's. The loft was a real challenge-every day. One full bathroom wasnt easy. No trash cans except in kitchen and bathrooms. A small one in each bedroom would have been nice. A/C was turned low-terrible heat...we all made it through just fine- im just wanting you to know its hard for us old folks! A beautiful view of the lake, we sat out on the deck every am and pm. The mosquitos and biting knats were plentiful...

It is unfortunate you did not enjoy a 5 star stay at our Lakehouse. The spiral staircase to the loft is noted in the listing description. Before your stay, we discussed a full refund cancelation per you initial concern.
For future reference, we are always available during your stay to make adjustments per resonable requests to convenience items such as temperature adjustments, additional trash cans, etc. The renter has access to temporary Thermostat adjustments during the stay.
Please note the rental is for a house with amenities to enjoy with your friends and family. It is on a lake, in the woods and on the side of a mountain. Woodland creatures, birds, frogs and bugs should be expected. For liability reasons, ointments and lotions such as bug sprys sun protection are not supplied as they are unique to individuals.
We wish you the best and hope you have more better than a 3 stat stay on future VRBO experiences

About the host
Hosted by Dale
Welcome y’all to our house. We love it here and so will you. Work has taken us on an extended leave away from our beloved “Lake House” and we thought others would enjoy the place as much as we do. We look forward to sharing it with you.
Be courteous of our neighbors and respect their privacy. They are also our friends. Please obey the quiet hours (10pm to 8am Sunday through Thursday and 11pm through 8am Friday & Saturday). It is very peaceful here after Labor Day (fall and winter) but in the summer months it’s bustling with people!
We are always working on odds and ends, doing most of the work ourselves, so contact us directly if something is not working or you come across something that could improve. (Text 419-250-1747).
This house is on a septic system. There is no garbage disposal in the Kitchen. Food wastes are caught in the sink strainer. Pick up the strainer from the sink and empty the contents into the trash. Replace the strainer to sink. We are limited to 1 load of laundry per day. No feminine hygiene products or flushable wipes down the toilet. You will be responsible for plumbing repairs.
There are few things that will keep long-term in the fridge (mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, salad dressing, etc.…). Help yourself to any of these but let us know if we are out. We like to have them here for our stays. It is perfectly fine if you have some extra and would like to leave it for others. Please take with you or throw away any perishable items (fruits, vegetables, milk, juices, eggs, etc.…).
Enjoy your stay here. There are so many things to do year-round. It’s easy to leave a piece of your heart in Tennessee.
