Cozy Cabin by the Lake

This charming 1-bedrm, 1-bathrm lakeside retreat sits on 8 acres including a 2-acre lake, perfect for fishing. The newly built home features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wood flooring, and a mini-split HVAC system. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a family room with a sleeper sofa. Relax on the back porch with lake views or enjoy a canoe/paddle boat ride. Located within Tyler's city limits and just 1-2 minutes from Tyler's shopping mall, it's the best of both worlds!

This is a newly built home on 8 acres within Tyler City Limits has privacy, views of our private 2-acre lake, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, lots of natural light, AC and Heat, vaulted ceiling, 3-car carport, hardwood flooring, upstairs loftnew furniture, queen-size bed, full-size sleeper sofa, full kitchen complete with large refrigerator, electric oven range, microwave, cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Most of the windows have "black-out" shades for a great environment for sleeping.

Our guests have complete private use of our 600-sqft cabin, and the 3-car carport. Guests are able to access the cabin by using our keypad lock on the doors.

Guests do share the 8-acre mowed yard which includes a private 2-acre lake with another short-term rental next door.

This cozy cabin is the perfect place for a couple's private retreat. You'll enjoy privacy, sitting on the back porch in our rocking chairs and watch the sunset over our private lake. Another thing of note, is that we are located within the Tyler City Limits and just 1-minute from Broadway Ave (lots of shopping, grocery stores, parks, restaurants, etc).

Perfect weekend getaway!

The location and property were perfect for our trip! We enjoyed fishing while also getting some quiet and alone time away from the city. The location was close enough to get everything we needed and do the things we enjoyed doing in town! Looking forward to the next chance we get to visit again.

My wife (Sandie) and I met in college while attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. We've been married for 45 years. We have worked side by side in the same jobs our entire marriage. We have 2 grown daughters, both married and we have 5 grandchildren from them!

We served in the full-time ministry for 24 years (serving in the USA, Philippines, and Japan). We are very active in House Church and even have our own Bible Study Apps called "Manna for the Morning" and "Manna Bible Flash Cards" (check them out at the Apple or Playstore App Stores).

We now are Real Estate Brokers (21 years) and own our own RE business called "Shepherd and Associates Realty". Our goal is "to give your dreams an address"!

We have several rental homes - some we use for Airbnb and others are "corporate rental". Preston plays Senior Softball, Golf and Racquetball; Sandie loves exercising, gardening, reading and spoiling grandkids!
