This property is very comfortable, pretty and clean. It’s conveniently located so that we could drive or hop the Red Line into Boston without any trouble. Jenny checked in with us during our visit to make sure we were okay. We really enjoyed our time there.
Great Location. Charming property, and proximity to a very cool pub and eatery area is only a 10 minute walk. The train is only a 10 minute walk also. Honestly I would select this place for doing anything in Boston. Jenny was fantastic to work with. Very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. 11/10!
This unit was accurately described. Actually, we felt like the home was better than expected. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of space for everyone to feel very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when visiting.
Close walk to redline train. Walkable restaurants in area. Good location for using public transportation to get to downtown. Property very clean. Host responsive to inquiry’s.
This property is the downstairs portion of a home. If there are tenants upstairs you hear every footstep. It was an easy walk to the Ashmont subway station. No need for a car to get around Boston which we loved. Very clean with comfortable beds.
The host was very attentive and always answered my messages right away. The house was very clean and had a lot details that made the stay more pleasant. the neighborhood was safe Overall everything was great
beautiful property. Plenty of room for our family of 5 (parents room, each kid had own room.) Walking distance to the red line Ashmont station. That's a little further out than I realized, but we were able to use train lines everywhere we went, including to and from airport. Had grocery delivery and cooked breakfast and most dinners. Pots/pans were basic, so I wouldn't plan to do complicated cooking. Would stay here again.
My friends and I recently stayed here, and we would highly recommend other people to stay here as well. Jenny was a great host and always super responsive when I had any question. She made sure my friends and I had everything we needed (which wasn't much because the house came with everything we needed). Overall, it was the perfect place for me and my friends, and I am glad we got to stay here!
The property was really great and the host was super attentive and available. Great location, about 20 minutes from city centre, easy to get to all the major attractions. We were two families (9 people), and had more than enough sleeping options, as well as lounging room, too. The kitchen was on the smaller size for 9 people but great space for a family of four or five. We ate in shifts which worked out well enough. Can't rave enough about the kindness of the host. Very available and accommodating. We would definitely book again.
The property is charming and conveniently located near the red line. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and have our own respite when needed. We went to support my husband in the race. The proximity to Boston meant that we were able to drive to several eateries and historic tours and monuments. There is parking provided however we were able to park in front of our VRBO most evenings. We would definitely stay here again. Boston is a beautiful city full of rich Americana history. The antique charm of the VRBO added to this. The beds were very comfortable and the space provided was more than adequate. Our host , Jenny was very attentive and her cousin Kin was charming.
The property was good. There were some places like the bathroom that could have been a bit cleaner. But, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of places for all 9 of us to sleep. One bedroom had a rattley vent that we were unable to easily access and the front bedroom had a motion light right outside that shined into the room (blackout blinds would help immensely). The people staying in the upstairs unit were very loud in the middle of the night and I know that's no fault of the owner but it did disrupt sleep. There was also some construction that started quite early that was loud and shaking the house- we were already up but would have been woken if it started any earlier.
Very nice. Comfortable. Clean.Good location. Good location to the city of Boston. T is just around the corner. Which made it easy for access to Boston. One exception a little noisy on the street. But it's a through street. Plus it can be noisy with upstairs neighbors. Few exceptions. Would be throw blankets. Possibly some towel hooks. Because we stayed there longer than a night. Some luggage racks. For our bags. Had to use chairs or put them on the floor. Supplies were thin. Like toilet paper and paper towels. Had to buy some until I got some from the maintenance guy. For a stay of 7 days. You can go through that stuff. Also had to steal batteries from another remote control. Kitchen was equipped enough to service our needs. A welcome book I usually have at other places. It gives you instructions on the house. Like door codes. In case of call. So we wouldn't have to keep referencing phones. Also would give ideas on restaurants in the area. Shopping. For essentials if needed. Also a heads up on the T. How to use maps. Usually there's also a book to write in. Where you're from .what your trip was for. But for the most part we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you
