Our group had the most comfortable winter week in this beautiful historical cottage. Coming from Australia, we had concerns about being cold and Paul could not have been more accommodating. The house was very comfortable and the fire in the living room added extra coziness and ambience. The five bedrooms have queen size beds and all were matched in comfort so no-one vying for the best room! The large kitchen was very well equipped which allowed for delicious group meals. (Historic Ennis was only 15 minutes away for a big supermarket shop and well worth seeing its medieval laneways.) We appreciated access to the laundry so we could wash our clothes in preparation for the next stage of our winter holiday. The location of the house, near Corofin was perfect for day tours. Everything we wanted to do and see in Co Clare / Galway was only a 30 minute drive from the house. Unexpectedly the week turned into a food lovers safari as there are many top quality restaurants and pubs within half hours drive from the house so our days were structured around where to go for lunch! Paul was very welcoming on arrival, ensuring we were comfortable. In summary, this beautiful home gave us a perfect Irish week for a family group or group of friends and with any luck we will be back.
