Great place, centrally located to most activities. 2 minute walk to a nice beach in a protected cove. There’s a bar and grill adjacent to the beach with good food and a deck on the water. Highly recommend the sunsets! Condo was clean and easy to access. I’d stay there again.

This condo was extremely well appointed. From the coffee maker with filters and coffee, to a wide variety of spices, to a comfortable bed in the master bedroom,to all the beach toys, to a dedicated parking space, the condo lacked for nothing to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The responsive host answered our questions quickly and completely. The only improvement we could’ve asked for was better weather. It rained for most of our stay.

Lovely place that was very well set up and equipped. Everything was very well thought through and provided. Loved the barbecue, pool and hot tub. Only two things that weren’t perfect. Pull out bed was not very comfortable- a bit too soft and springy. Washing machine smelt a bit stale and grimy in the rubber area/seal.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The apt was clean and very well stocked. I especially liked that they provided beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and boogie boards. It is an easy walk to a beautiful and popular beach, but don’t let the name Magic Sands mislead you. The waves there were the roughest of the seven beaches we visited on the island, like being in a washing machine (not a safe beach to let the kids go to on their own). The apt complex was quiet, a bid deal for a light sleeper, and well maintained. Parking was easy.

Well equipped kitchen, beach gear, and location. Good location for a family of 4. HVAC is the key reason for points lost along with weak water pressure. The hvac system is extremely noisy combined with a remotely controlled nest thermostat schedule. Owner communicated well during tsunami warning. Overall a great location from which to enjoy exploring the island.

Comfy unit in great location! Highly recommend. Spacious with a huge lanai and well-stocked kitchen and pantry. Beach, restaurant and snack bar are right across the street, which is also an ideal place to watch sunset. Especially nice primary bedroom with lots of storage space. Nice pool. This condo is in the second building back so it has more privacy. We loved watching and listening to the birds coming in to roost in the trees near the lanai every evening and taking flight in the morning. Great communication from host.

I am an avid host that likes to create and resonate a home away from home. Vacations at hotels is a different experience but building a well appointed home that caters to call cultures and backgrounds globally is a unique challenge and I love building home away from home that will build lasting memories for our guests.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood we chose is because of the proximity to Magic Sands Beach. Big Island, Hawaii is a volcanic island and as it is still evolving have only few white sands beaches. A small such beach called Magic Sands beach is right across our community of White Sands Village.
Check out why the back is called out as Magic Sands Beach by doing a google search and its intriguing to see how nature play such a unique role.

What makes this property unique

Our property is Unique for two reasons.
1. its one of the few units on each floor that does not need stairs to climb down or up to access the condo. This condo is at the same floor level as where the elevator drops you on the floor. The community buildings are deigned to take advantage of the slope and with that a few condos each floor are same level as the elevator door opens. The rest of the condos needs guest to either climb up or down the floors.
