Location: This convenient unit is located in a gated community in Palm Springs on the 14th hole of the Cathedral Canyon Golf Course. The Cathedral Canyon Golf Club was built in the early 1970s as the centerpiece of the Cathedral Canyon Development. Tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers and lakes are set against the backdrop of the majestic San Jacinto Mountains. In total, 18 holes and over 6,500 yards of championship golf provide challenging play for golf lovers. Cathedral Canyon is a gated community with friendly neighbors and very helpful security staff on the front gate.

Accommodations: Two bedroom/ 2 bath single story Spanish hacienda style 1500 square foot end unit with double car garage and front and back patios. This condo has all of the conveniences of home. There is a magnificent view of the 14th green with a background of the San Jacinto Mountains. This view and spectacular sunsets can be appreciated at any time of the day from the large west facing back patio. There are 3 pools and hot tubs nearby that are accessible to occupants with one of them being heated throughout the cooler months of the year.

Relaxing Retreat

A beautiful property fully stocked in a very convenient location! I had a very restful stay and enjoyed escaping the summer desert heat here. Felt really safe being in a gated community and Susan was a super host! Would 100% recommend and stay again.

Beautiful place!

This spacious 2 bedroom condo is a perfect getaway spot. Bordering Cathedral City, this spacious condo is conveniently close to Palm Springs and to Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert. We especially enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, hanging by the pools and using the nicely remodeled kitchen. You get good neighbors and a million dollar view too!

The view was fantastic. It was more like a bird sanctuary than a golf course. So peaceful and beautiful. It was exactly the type of accommodations we needed after a very stressful few months with family illnesses and the passing of our mother. I would definatley stay here again. The hosts were in communication to make sure all was well.

Perfect outdoor living. Patio/lounging/dining on east- and west-facing sides. Great 180-degree view west from dining, living, master bedroom. Water heater went out; owner had a plumber there fast, fixed within 12 hours.

A week in Palm Springs is always a good thing

This golf course condo is the most comfortable place we have ever stayed in the Palm Springs area. It was perfect! Clean, well equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings, front and back patios, nearby pools, nice neighborhood and centrally located in the valley- but best of all - just a killer VIEW of the mountains from the living room and back patio! Perfect for that morning cup of coffee and afternoon cocktails - inside or out. We could just relax here at the end of our days exploring. Thank you to our hosts. We hated to leave and hope to come back!

Wonderful Home

Our stay at Calle Loreto met all our expectations and more. The views from the patio and living areas of the home are some of the best the valley has to offer! It was great fun watching the golfers in the 14th tee and observing the plentiful bird population! The house itself was very well equipped with every possible kitchen gadget and appliance! The beds were super comfortable. We felt very fortunate to stay at this wonderful condo and would come definitely come again if it is available next year. Really Bad

The first day we got there, there were so many flies inside it was insane. I killed over 60 on the first two days. On the third day the air conditioning quit and we were told to stay at the home for the air conditioning technicians. it was at least 90F inside the house and it was awful. The air conditioning quit on our second last night and the owner told us we should go get a hotel. We found a hotel, but it wasn't as big as the condo and it was more money. The owners only gave us a two night discount and it didn't even cover one night at the hotel. The air conditioning wasn't the owner's fault, but they left us high and dry with all of the problems that were happening at the unit. If you want to be an owner and rent your property step up and take care of the people who pay you large amounts for your property. Their treatment of my family and me ruined our whole vacation and I can't recommend this to anyone.

Hated to leave this condo.

The property is really nice. The rooms in the condo are spacious and clean. Nice big kitchen with table. Dinning room table next to the kitchen. The views from the back patio were beautiful. You are right on a putting green and then you have an unobstructed view of the mountains beyond that. The view is absolute eye candy! I have saved the address of this condo because when we visit again I would like to try and stay here if it's available. Unfortuately, when we checked in the evening we arrived, it was very warm in the condo. I spoke with Sue and her husband tried to tweak something online to see if that would help with the cooling. That didn't make any change in the temperature. Sue was having someone come out the following afternoon to look in to the matter. However, with triple digit temperatures for the coming week we were concerned it might take more than a quick fix. I asked Sue if we could just get a refund and leave the following morning. That way they could get the AC fixed and not having to worry about guests at the same time. We were going to be gone all day and didn't want to risk coming back to a warm condo in the event it couldn't be repaired quickly. Sue never hestiated and agreed to offer a full refund given the circumstances. We agreed to pay half the cleaning fee which is only fair given that we stayed the first night. It was just an unfortnuate circumstance there was an AC issue. Sue and her husband have no control over when something like this might happen. I told Sue it made us sad that we had to leave because we really were very happy with the condo. My hope is they got the AC fixed without a lot of work. I hope to stay there sometime in the future. Sue could not have been easier or more accomdating to work with. If you like a roomy condo, sweepy views, and a host that is easy to work with, then this is a property you should consider. Dan

Great condo, great location!

This is the second time we've stayed in this condo and we just love it! Great location on the Palm Springs side of Cathedral Canyon Country Club. Patio faces the mountains and you can watch the golfers as you drink your morning coffee. Spacious, clean and a well equipped kitchen. Three pools and spas nearby. Great, responsive hosts! Hope to stay there again!

Location is everything.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. We loved everything about the location, the unit, the spectacular view from the patio. The unit is large and nicely furnished. It was spotless and well-equipped.

Work and play from away

This golf course condo served as a perfect base for me to work and play from away while also monitoring my daughter, who was in a medical facility in the region. The space, in a wonderful quiet neighborhood with pools everywhere, was a great refuge. The wifi was strong for my meetings and work, which I could wrap up early because I actually live and work in the ETS. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The downtown had great restaurants and shopping. I made three trips to hike in JoshuaTree National Park to hike and to catch the full moon and sunset, was blown away by the beauty and the Big Horn Sheep in Indian Canyon--the Palm Canyon hike!!! I even made one easy trip to LA to visit relatives, and hit the high end outlet shops on the way. Jimmy Choo, Louboutin and more. I'll be back to Palm Springs are aand I will definitely stay here. There were some minor mechanical issues and the owner jumped on them swiftly and effectively. No complaints. Only that I had to leave.

Best Stay in the Valley

We've stayed at many places in the Palm Springs area and this was by far our most enjoyable. The community is in a central location, gated, well-maintained, quiet, with friendly neighbors. The unit sits right on the golf course with splendid views of Mt. San Jacinto. It had everything we needed with plenty of outdoor seating in front and back. Susan was very responsive and dealt immediately with a mechanical issue we experienced. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Stay with Mountain Views

My wife and I spent four weeks working from home at this beautiful condo in November/December 2020, and loved it. Photos don't to justice to the space, which is spacious and comfortably decorated, and also has a wide and inviting patio all along the golf-course side with (as one reviewer noted) the best possible views across to the mountains. We enjoyed lingering on the patio with our laptops and walking in the friendly and well-maintained development. This is one of those rentals that feels lived-in in the best possible way, meaning it's very well equipped with everything you might need (especially the kitchen) while also being cozy and livable. (Relatives were staying nearby in the opposite of this place: a "style over substance" condo that looked great in photos but was falling apart and didn't have even basic kitchen gear; they were very jealous of our choice to stay here!) The location proved perfect for us, about midway between the heart of Palm Springs in one direction and Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert in the other. As light sleepers, we found this location remarkably quiet (though you'll get used to hearing the lawn crew out front, briefly, just after 7 every morning--maybe not ideal for those hoping to sleep in). It was a very restful place to spend many long hours, day and night. Overall, this condo was excellent and well-priced considering the space, location, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again sometime!

Nicest Condo Ever

Kerry & Susan have the nicest condo. Everything about it was so wonderful. Top of the line appliances in kitchen and wine cooler. Even the staff at the front gate are extremely friendly and helpful. Why they chose this property

We bought this property for the location and the wonderful neighbourhood- 10 minutes from the airport and it has the best view in Cathedral Canyon Country Club. We spend hours on the back patio visiting with friends and enjoying the view.

What makes this property unique

It takes 20 minutes from landing at Palm Springs to be in your rental car and 10 minutes away from our home. We also completely renovated the property when purchased and we have all the conveniences of home. We have access to 3 pools and hot tubs in this gated community.
