Navy reenlistment ceremony

We visited CO to attend my son’s reenlistment ceremony. The house was great for our family of 8. The neighborhood was nice and close to everything we could ever need.

The host was very responsive and it was easy to get in and out. The property is nice but it just needs some attention. The carpets are stained, there is duct tape over a hole in the master bedroom door. There are no instructions on how to use the fireplace or anything else. The WiFi password is on a piece of paper just taped to the wall. The furniture is worn out in the living room and the ensure basement which is massive is just empty. We just needed a place to sleep and do a little cooking so it was not bad but I really think if they replaced a few things and organized it would be amazing

Location was great home very tidy and spacious. Owner very accommodating and worked with us on issues noting we were there almost 10 days and life happens. Very Clean house. Big Rooms. The host was very easy to communicate with. The things that need to addressed in the house: The stove was difficult to operate due to the broken knobs. The dishwasher was not secured properly. The screen to the patio door was missing. Also there were no steak knives and not enough dishes and bowls in the kitchen.

We stayed for 20 nights and had a very pleasant stay! The home was exactly as listed- clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. Our son has many medical needs and allergies and home worked well for us. My wife was also very immobile at the time so having mostly everything on the main level was helpful. Genet was an outstanding host, going above and beyond by replacing a lost key the same day and even sending fresh sheets just to make our stay better. Her communication was excellent, and every request was met with care.The location is ideal. Its about 20 minutes from Anschutz with a Sprouts about 10mins and the space easily accommodated visiting family. No issues at all, just a smooth and comfortable experience. We would absolutely stay here again!

**One Star - Worst Rental Experience**I honestly don’t even know where to start. This house was an absolute disaster from the moment we stepped inside. The moment we entered, the strong smell of cigarette smoke hit us immediately — it was clear someone had been smoking inside regularly, and no amount of air fresheners could cover it up. It was completely disgusting and made us question the cleanliness of the entire place.The furniture was in terrible shape; almost all of it was torn up, stained, or damaged beyond repair. The photos listed on the site were completely misleading – they looked almost photoshopped, with pristine furniture that bore no resemblance to what was actually there. When we arrived, we realized the furniture was old, torn, and dirty, and it was impossible to relax comfortably.The walls were filthy, not just in need of a fresh coat of paint, but genuinely dirty — with stains, marks, and dust caked onto the surfaces. The baseboards hadn’t been cleaned in years; they were thick with dust and grime. The carpets were stained and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages, which made the entire living space feel grimy and unhygienic.The countertops and cabinets in the kitchen were covered in grime, dirt, and sticky residue. It was so disgusting that we didn’t even want to use the kitchen to prepare food. Everything about the house felt neglected and unkempt.Fortunately, we were able to contact the support team, and they issued us a full refund.

Please understand that this is not to trash the owner in any way, but the truth must be stated. We rented the property prior to the last rating they received, which I must say pretty much did do just that. Had we seen the review -before we agreed on the rental, there would have been no way we would have been interested. However, we did and therefore had to go forward as there was no backing out. Upon entering the home, there was a smell throughout the house. Looking over the property, there were many things that needed repair or replaced. Below are those areas that need attention:The exterior decorative door glass (double paned) was now single paned due to the interior glass pane being busted out. The vinyl planking flooring was not complete at front door as well as separations throughout the house.Stools at kitchen counter needed replacing, worn and torn.Sofa smelled, torn and seat did not recline. The house needs a complete paint job.Master bedroom is nothing short of being a disaster. Paint and new carpet a must.Master also needs a dresser and maybe another night stand.Master bathroom sinks (2) no drain plug in one and the other did not function properly.When opening dishwasher, it tilts forward and to the left. Sheers and blinds need to be updated.Online pictures shows 2 nice chairs on front stoop but they are plastic.No outdoor furniture in back. No sliding door lock mechanism. There is a brace to keep door from opening.
