This rental was stunning. The area is quiet and relaxing. There are 2 porches to. House from and enjoy the birds and squirrels in the trees. There are wild turkey in and around the home that have taken roost in the trees. Very private, very serene; worth every penny. The amenities were far better than expected. Only a 15 minute drive to Pere Marquette.

This is a great family vacation home! There are three separate sleeping areas for plenty of space and privacy. The beach is a very short drive away, and the house is in a secluded location among beautiful trees. It has a well-stocked kitchen, good bedding, and a large fire ring with lots of chairs. The grandkids enjoyed playing on the deck and exploring among the trees, and the adults enjoyed chatting in the comfortable living room. The whole place was well-maintained and clean. This was a terrific house for a three-generation get-together, and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, clean & comfortable property. Great nature views out every window.The only "not great feature" was the two way fireplace. The fireplace shared a wall between the the greatroom & main bedroom. This created a privacy issue because the opening allowed you to see between rooms. Overall... very beautiful place to spend time.

Tucked in the woods get away

The location was right off the road but felt tucked into a deep woods. Very private location. House was well kept and clean and the check in and out process was very easy. The home also fit everyone and with the lower level apartment feel, it made it feel like separate houses for our two families.

We were just doing a friend get together. It looked like the photos online. It was very close to different towns so there were options on what to do. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, but also come together to plan games or sit by the fire.

The house was nice and in a great location close to Hoffmaster and the beach! We loved the fire pit out back. The TV downstairs didn't work and sleeping in the basement was pretty cold. I would suggest making some type of barrier between the upstairs loft and the rest of the house because we couldn't have the TV on very loud when people went to bed up there. At least a big curtain to try to block some of the sound but a wall would be better. They had a hard time sleeping because all the noise from the kitchen/family room carried up there so easily. Not everyone goes to bed at the same time in our family. The bed downstairs was very comfortable. No complaints on the mattress. The shower downstairs was very small. It was pretty funny trying to shave in there! We had a great time for the week with our family!

I will add your suggestions to our owner feedback sheet regarding the need for some sort of barrier between the loft area and the main level. I am also adding the TV issue to the maintenance form. We hope you were able to enjoy all that the area had to offer and were able to make many wonderful memories!

Very nice, except that it was very cold in the basement, and we were unable to control the temperature there. Made sleeping difficult.
