Welcome to your summer haven and beach cottage that is only 2 blocks from South Beach and 1 block from Kids' Corner (an amazing kid's playground) with close proximity (10 minute walk) to downtown South Haven.

This spacious 3000 square feet private home boasts 3 separate living/family rooms with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, more than ready to welcome a large group of family or friends up to 14 guests. This house is unique in offering many large common spaces to share but also offers plenty of privacy when needed with its bedroom and bathroom count. The house is well accommodated for young children with amenities like a booster seat, kids' utensils, pack n play, and a thoughtful kid's play area. There is also an arcade game room in the basement.
There are 5 private parking spots in front of the house which is invaluable in the summer when parking is difficult to find near the beach.
The house comes with a private hot tub, spacious back yard with a fire pit, two separate coffee/hot chocolate bars, waffle station, shaved ice maker, and many high quality kitchen appliances for your convenience. We also provide some basic bathroom amenities in case you forget to pack something.

In the summer, we have a wagon available to bring to the beach, beach toys, beach chairs, and an umbrella.

The layout of the house is as follows:

1st floor:
- Kitchen
- Living room with electric fireplace
- Dining area with dining table and sitting space at kitchen counter
- Private Bedroom #1 with king bed and en suite bathroom with shower
- Bedroom #2 with queen bed
- Bathroom across the hall from 2nd bedroom with shower and washer/dryer
- Hallway with door that leads to balcony/back yard

2nd floor:
- Private master suite (Bedroom #3) with king bed and pull out chair (twin size) and en suite bathroom with shower
- Large living/family room with comfortable seating and large 65 inch smart TV
- Sitting table and a second coffee station and mini fridge
- Bedroom #4 with King bed
- Bathroom with shower next to Bedroom #4

Basement:
- Spacious sectional with large 65 inch smart TV to enjoy movies and TV
- Arcade room with 2 enjoyable arcade games
- Kid's area with lots of toys, board games, books, a food truck, and a large comfortable bean bag
- Bedroom #5 and 6 with 2 twin beds each
- Shared Bathroom with shower

Outdoors:
- Private patio with plenty of seating
- Hot tub
- Large spacious backyard with fire pit
- In spring/summer, there is a wooden corn hole game to enjoy as well as an assortment of balls to enjoy in the backyard

The house was clean and in a great location, close to town! What really stood out were all of the little things the host provided, like stocked spices, dish soap, trash bags and plastic baggies in the kitchen, shampoo and body wash in all bathrooms, and boxes of tissues. The host’s communication was also prompt, helpful, and friendly. We highly recommend this place for a wonderful get away!!

Our group of 4 couples with kids very much enjoyed our stay at Maple Beach Cottage. The house was very well appointed, including lovely contemporary furniture as well as small details such as pet food bowls and stain remover spray for laundry. Loved the second floor living room with coffee bar. Plenty of room for all to enjoy. Location cannot be beat. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Lots of space and family items

Our group included three kids under 8 years old and all of the extras like stroller, pack-n-play, high chair, and booster seat were a huge help! Living space, bedrooms, and bathrooms were all lovely. Great location to the beach. Excellent communication with owner. Overall great stay. Book it!!

Amazing South Beach family-friendly house

Maple Cottage is ideally situated near South Beach—lovely, picturesque neighborhood setting. So close to wonderful playground and the beach. The house was very clean on checkin with everything a large family could need—toy area, bathroom amenities, beach toys and strollers/wagon. MJ is incredibly responsive to requests and was so nice to leave birthday gifts/decorations for family birthdays. Amazing!!

This was a last minute friends weekend and we were fortunate to find this beautiful home for our “senior” women’s group. The photos accurately show the beautifully appointed home. It was exceptionally clean (and I’m germ phobic), much space for all of us to enjoy, deck and hot tub were a plus. Proximity to South Haven Beach was also a plus. Owner could not be more accommodating and responsive. Memorable weekend. Thank you.

Wonderful South Haven Stay!

We had a wonderful long-weekend staying at Maple Beach Cottage! The house was perfectly located to walk to the beach and even possible to walk downtown (10-15min) if you don’t want the hassle of driving. The house was well-decorated and there were plenty of spaces for sleeping and hanging out. Our host provided helpful info before check in, including an update that one of the futons had been moved which really helped us plan sleeping arrangements for our large group. She was responsive the entire stay and made everything great! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, great house

The house was clean, comfortable and big enough for our 11 people. It was nice that almost all bedrooms had private bathroom. The separate sitting areas were nice. We enjoyed the big dining table for meals and games. The kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked several meals there. The outdoor area was nice, and the big umbrella was used on sunny days. We used the hot tub. The location was walking distance to the beach and walking distance to downtown. The multiple parking spaces and use of garage were nice too. Overall, great house.
