Weekend Trip

Great place to stay was very clean. Beautiful location, could see the ocean from the balcony in the bedroom. Beach was only a few steps away from the house. would definitely book again.

Summer vacation

This is a wonderful property with all the amenities needed to have a very enjoyable time with family by the beach. This has been our 3rd summer vacationing in maushop and we just had the best time! Our 1st time at this property and it was so lovely and would definitely come again.

Summer S-Cape

Location was fantastic! The cottage was hot most of the time. This made it uncomfortable during the day. Fans were used for circulation of air but were not very successful. Loved the private beach. Just FYI they will check for flags. Neighborhood is beautifully manicured.

I was very conflicted in writing this review as the property was clean, and was also the most well stocked rental we've ever stayed in. The owner had everything we could need for the week which we really appreciated. The kitchen, beds, and bathrooms were very clean and the whole unit is adorable, and we appreciated all of the things that made it feel comfortable (extra blankets, towels, etc).The private beach was a short walk and very convenient. We loved how quiet the beach was and also the nice view from our unit. The beach is very "natural" with lots of seaweed, etc. There were also a lot of stairs to get down to the beach, which could be difficult for some people. I couldn't find much information on or photos of this specific beach when booking, so I thought that might be helpful for others to know. We still enjoyed it though.Our disappointment was more with the maintenance issues. When we arrived we could immediately smell a very strong/chemical scent from ant spray, and then we noticed ant traps all along one of the walls. They were aware of and trying to address the issue, but it was a bit frustrating by the end of the week as the ants were not going away or getting better. We weren't able to use to grill most of the week as there was some lingering grease that caught fire the first night we arrived. We let Paul know and he responded quickly that they would schedule a deeper cleaning. We were just disappointed we couldn't use it more throughout the week.

Thank you, never be conflicted in providing a fair and honest review. The previous tenant upon checking out had reported some sugar ants. They stated that they had children and they had spilled some drinks, food, etc. The maintenance company did the best they could do with no notice. I never heard anything more of the issue until now, it's being brought up. The grills are always cleaned between tenants by the cleaners; however, they don't clean below the grills, so broken hamburger or other material can catch fire.
