This 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath condominium located in the Cortez building is situated on the first floor and on the backside of the complex looking into the garden and pool area. The building has its own exclusive building pool and hot tub along with remote gate parking under the complex. With all that San Diego has to offer, you will be sure to come back to this fresh and elegant condo.

The fully stocked kitchen is the perfect place to create a culinary delight of your own. There are all new, stainless steel appliances that include a full-size refrigerator, an electric stove/oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. If you need a break from cooking, then there is no need to drive. Just take a short stroll to Bar Traza or Bob's Steak House on the resort.

A family of 3 will fit perfectly in this beautiful condo. Sliding doors have been added to separate the living area from the bedroom for added privacy and the living room guests have their own half bath.

While on the property don't forget to play 18 holes of golf, grab a lesson at the tennis court or receive a spa treatment from the world famous spa. Let the kids take on the game room while you explore the variety of shops! Also, take a short drive to the Batiquitos Lagoon where you can take a relaxing hike or just drive a few more minutes down the road to the beach! The unit on this beautiful property was just perfect. It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay, allowing me to enjoy a week-long vacation. Great location! Loved the resort!

The condo met all of our needs. The location couldn’t be better. It is very close to the beach, freeway, restaurants, shopping and you can be anywhere in minutes. The resort is beautiful and so is the surrounding area. We enjoyed walks at night around the grounds and eating at Bar Traza on the property. It has a wonderful ambiance with good food and drink. Great service too! The condo has everything you might need and there is a grocery store very close by. The bed and pullout sofa are comfortable! The balcony is lovely and a great place to relax. Highly recommend! It was a very nice stay overall.

Perfect for us

We rented this condo for 9 nights and it was perfect for my spouse and I. The condo is well located and a good size for 2. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed and bedding was super comfortable. The pictures don’t show it well but there is a lovely deck. We spent a lot of time out there. It was quiet, peaceful and there is comfy seating out there. Added bonuses….the underground assigned parking and in unit washer and dryer. The Omni grounds are absolutely beautiful and the unit is close to Omni restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

tv was an issue requiring agent to visit 4times plus still didnt work right. dining table was unsteady, one of the blinds keep sliding open and required a chair against it to not open. kitchen drain worked poorly. layout was fine and bed and shower good.

We stayed in another VRBO in the Balboa building next door which was very nice. We had to extend our stay and the previous condo was booked. This condo was comfortable, but definitely needs some attention. The kitchen sink faucet is very loose. One can do without the bidet toilet seats…not sure how sanitary they are. The kitchen table was very wobbly, had to place a dish cloth under the leg to stabilize it. Nice view from the living room not able to enjoy since one side of the patio door glass has cloudiness due to poor seals. There are plenty of condos for vacation rentals in La Costa, we would not select this one again.

Absolutely Beautiful

I will never stay in a hotel again if I don’t have to. This was my first vacation rental and I couldn’t be more pleased. The condo was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies, beach towels, coffee. I loved being able to bring home leftovers from all the great restaurants we went to. I loved having a beautiful washer and dryer right there to keep up with my wash. I loved the large patio looking out over a quiet green and feeling the lovely breezes from the two large sliders. The close by pool was empty most of the time and available at night along with a gorgeous lighted tennis court. It was so peaceful. The grounds were lovely. The bedding was comfortable. The sofa was comfortable. It was beautifully decorated. So many modern perks from bidet toilets to push button disposal and modern cabinets. Lovely just absolutely lovely. I could have easily spent as much on a hotel room not half as nice.

Stellar piece of property

Extremely clean condo with a lovely balcony that despite being on the first floor was over the garage and therefore had elevation and a nice view of grass, pool area and a bit farther were the tennis courts that were no problem for us at all in terms of sound. I would love to shake hands with the interior designer who created a beautiful ambience with impeccable taste where no expense was spared. Quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend. Although I rated the property manager above as 5 Star, I had zero contact with anyone, but I could not submit this review without rating the property manager. There should have been a category of "did not have contact". All directions were just sent to me via email. Manager never contacted me otherwise, but there were no problems.

Everything was clean and lovely. Convenient location in the resort. Just be aware that this building is not considered a part of the resort so you don’t have general resort privileges like access to resort pools or ability to reserve courts. Nice stay!

Wonderful La Costa Property

This lovely condo provided all we could want for our vacation. The location on the lovely grounds of the resort was quiet and peaceful yet we were just minutes from restaurants, shopping, Carlsbad and several beaches. The decor was fresh and kitchen was well stocked with everything. We're missing sitting on the balcony already!

Great stay for family of three

Plenty of space and well-maintained condo unit. We enjoyed the porch overlooking the tennis courts and being in the La Costa community for walking around and restaurants. We had enough room to set up our travel crib for our one year old without any issues. Garage door fob was missing when we first arrive, but a new one was dropped off quickly. We would definitely return if staying in Carlsbad. Thank you!

We had a great stay.

The leaky faucet in the bathroom never got fixed and the kitchen light did not get replaced. We stayed for a month. The property management did not communicate with us what the outcome of the leaky faucet was after someone came to inspect it.
