Updated private condo that sits behind the gates of La Costa Resort. The resort has a world famous Chopra Wellness Center, La Costa Resort Spa/Salon and beautiful golf course available to the public just steps from the condo that overlooks parts of the resort.

This top floor studio condo has two queen beds, bathroom and additional powder room. Open concept design with large kitchen, private dressing room and walk in closet. The condo building has it's own private pool, in addition to self underground garaged parking. City of Carlsbad has placed limits on vacation rental locations, this building and one other collectively known as Chateau Buildings that sit within resort gates are but the few allowed to operate as vacation rentals within Carlsbad.

A Covers $5000 in accidental damage in lieu of a cash deposit. This does not cover decontamination from pets or smoking.

Q Could you please tell me about your cancellation policy?
A Anything booked within 30 days of arrival there will be no refund. Purchasing travel insurance is always a good idea. We offer this through CSA if you are interested.

Q Is there both a washer and dryer in the unit?
A No, but there is one in the building on the bottom level at the elevator exit

Q What is your check-in and check-out time?
A Check in 4pm, Check out 10am

Q Is someone easily available via a cell phone or onsite in case of an emergency?
A Yes

A Yes. 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet tissue are provided. There is a grocery store located within walking distance for additional needs.

Q Do condo guests have access to any of the LaCosta Omni Resort pools & Tennis courts?
A No - That is a members only area. However they do have tennis lessons and workshops available with advanced reservations.

Q. Are pets or smoking allowed in unit?
A. No. The unit was designed with all hypoallergenic materials and goods so any pets or smoking in unit will result in decontamination fees to restore the unit to maintain a sensitive environment.

Q Are you available to talk over the phone prior to me booking anything online?
A Yes

Q.Can you hold my reservation?
A. Your reservation is not secured until payment has been made. In addition rates subject to change until your reservation is booked. We will send you a payment request with a link and quoted amount. If you do not respond after 2 days or someone else books any of your dates the link will no longer work and you will have to send me a new request.

Q. What do I do if something doesn't work?
A. We strive to have our guests as comfortable as possible. Please call if something isn't working right or you need help working an appliance. While we strive for a seamless stay please remember that we are not immune to 3rd party providers such as power outages, cable and wifi service interruption or simply a hiccup with an appliance. We have put in reliable and reputable fixtures, electronics and appliances in the unit, but sometimes things aren't perfect. Please call if something needs attention and we will do our best to remedy it if an issue arises during your stay.

We stayed 15 days and the property was perfect for the two of us. The unit was immaculate on the inside and the grounds are beautiful. We didn’t really need to contact the owner for anything while we were there. Everything you would need is there. The underground parking is a nice feature. Grocery stores are close same for restaurants and the beach is 15 minutes away. We will be back.

the verticals in the living area are WORN OUT! Did not work properly. The owner tried to repair with the cleaning crew. They obviously had no idea how to repair & in fact they need to be replaced. Two of the louvers fell out on the floor! The clips that hold them into the track are too old! The owner did refund one night for the inconvenience. Haven’t seen the refund. The other side of the verticals were in operable. Otherwise the unit was fine but this was an inconvenience that could have been avoided.

We are sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience that the vertical blinds did not pivot and only worked like a curtain and the mechanism was not available during the weekend for your ideal angle. We attempted to remedy the situation and have a confirmed copy that you were sent a refund for 1 entire night out of a three night stay for the blinds not pivoting to your liking and unable to get them set during your stay- we had sent refund immediately during your stay on July 26th yet you posted on August 30th you did not see refund? Were you not satified with a refund as a resolution? Please reach out to us as we will be escalating this to vrbo in regards to the 1 night refund we issued as you state you didn’t receive it as this is concerning since we did it directly with vrbo. We wish you the best in your future stays and the blinds have been addressed.

This is a first class condo. Close to grocery store and many restaurants. It was great to have a dedicated parking space in the garage. Loved the pool behind our building. We will definitely be back.

We arrived on Thanksgiving Day. We had family come to the condo for our Thanksgiving meal. Everything was perfect. We had everything we needed.

It was OK... not great.

First night started off on a bad note when we pulled back the bed spreads and found that the sheets were not clean. To be clear, it appeared they had been washed, but something, possibly lipstick or crayons, had not come out and a sticky residue was left behind - and one sheet had a hole in it. The most disconcerting part was that whoever put the sheets on the beds hadn't noticed. There are no towel racks in the bathrooms, so towels cannot dry between showers, and there were only 2 washcloths and 3 hand/face towels for use in 1.5 baths. Between no towel racks and not enough washcloths and hand towels, we had to do laundry several times during the week, just to have clean/dry towels. (And laundry is coin operated in a dingy basement room.) There is a lovely counter between the kitchen and dining area, but no counter stools, so we ate at the dining room table, which only has 2 chairs (how does this work if the condo can house up to 4 people?). The condo worked out OK for us, but attention to detail on the cleaning, and just a few amenities and upgrades to the condo, would make this so much better.

Beautiful little gem in La Costa

We loved our stay at this La Costa condo. It was very spacious, immaculate and had all the extras we needed for a great stay. The building is peaceful and quiet. We loved being close to the resort and walking the grounds. We hope to be back soon!

First the good part - the unit is very clean, updated and well thought out. It has everything needed to make your stay comfortable and the owner has really put thought and effort is making sure the kitchen is well stocked with all essentials. Absolutely no complaints regarding the unit. The resort is beautiful and the resort's location is very nice. The property is close to restaurants, grocery shops etc. Now the not so good part - The building and the elevators are a little dated. I understand the owner does not necessarily control them, but just wanted to point that out. Even that is not a big deal since the unit more than makes up for that. However we had issues when the elevators stopped working on the 3rd day of our stay. Didn't really matter to us first, but while coming back after a day of Hiking in Joshua Tree, climbing up the stairs was not fun. The elevator was apparently fixed the next day, but didn't work when we were exiting the unit and we had to haul all of our luggage downstairs. On top of that, after leaving the keys in the apartment, and with the elevator not working, we could not get into the garage to retrieve our car ! and this just caused some unnecessary stress as we were rushing to make it to the airport on time. Overall, this was the only negative aspect of the whole stay. I acknowledge the owner may not have control over the elevators. If not for that, the unit definitely deserved 5 stars. Also Margaux was always very prompt and responsive so no issues there.

Nice Family Condo

We enjoyed our stay. The condo owner was very helpful and prompt at replying. The condo unit itself was renovated and clean. Someone has a very nice taste with interior decorating! We liked being away from the big city of San Diego. The location was close enough to drive to the beach to watch the sunset! The grocery store and all amenities are a block away. We are very happy to have found this unit. My 3 year old enjoyed the pool immensely. Thank you! :)

I thought the place was in a great location... everything you need is very close by. The place itself was very nice and clean. I was able to cook and have everything (I brought the food of course) to do so. The property manage was very helpful and always willing to help. My only thing that I didn't realize is that the place is basically a studio... or like a hotel room... so the beds share the same area as the living room... it wasn't a huge problem as there waS plenty of room but we had a baby and so once he went to bed... we really couldn't do anything... but that was my mistake for not noticing. The place had its own parking and a nice pool... we never used the pool but thought it looked nice. Carlsbad is very cute and pretty. All in all, I would for sure stay here again.

Lovely Studio Living
