Ocracoke of yesteryear meets modern comfort in this charming, cozy vacation rental. Silver Lake Harbor and the heart of the Village is a short stroll away. Hidden down a driveway behind Sorella's Pizza & Pasta.

Enjoy sipping your morning coffee on a private deck, or nap the afternoon away as you lounge in your quiet hammock! This home offers plenty of options for relaxation. Even the beds are made for your arrival!

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath: 1 with Queen, 1 with two Twins. Bath has tub/shower.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless Internet access, and a smart TV. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers front and rear decks, enclosed yard, hot/cold outdoor shower, gas grill, hammock and a double kayak. Life jackets are not provided, if you wish to rent them, please get in touch with Ride The Wind Surf Shop. They will be happy to assist. The driveway is shared with Sorella's Pizza & Pasta.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

We do provide a Starter Kit containing 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, a small bottle of Palmolive dish soap, a trash bag for each can, and small bar of soap for each bathroom. Guests will need to bring additional supplies to last for the stay, or purchase at the Ocracoke Variety Store.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

No Smoking/Vaping. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. The owner prefers a limit of 1 small or medium dog. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Great weekend retreat!

Property was as advertised and very clean. Close enough to walk to everything and private enough to get away from the mobs of vacationers when necessary.

Lovely little place

Luna Sea is a lovely cottage, with a great location, and privacy from neighbors. The listing was accurate, the house and property were clean, and communication from the property manager was A+. Would stay again!

Hidden Jewel

We loved this cottage hidden behind island shrubs and trees. Both the front and back decks were peacefully enjoyed. The entire property is gated and very private, although close to the village. Kitchen was well equipped. Furniture was comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Outside shower was a dream. Amazingly quiet except for the sound of birds. The only downside was the low toilet as I’ve just had knee replacement. The TV in the living room has sound/volumn issues. Minor cons, considering the amazing pros.

Rustic adorable cottage

The cottage is super cute. Enjoyed the outdoor grill! Kitchen well equipped. Toaster did not work but toaster oven did. Comfortable beds. What we did not like was the overgrown yard. Vines and bamboo have taken over! It is too cute a cottage to be hidden behind so much foliage. Outdoor shower was good once I cut the branches away. Needs serious landscaping. Driveway is located behind the pizza restaurant and we did get blocked in twice but not for long. Mosquitos were annoying but the two feral cats were pretty from a distance. Loved the place but it needs outside work.
