Great floor plan, awesome location with access to the private beach, pool, sports courts, easy drive into town. However, the home itself left a bit to be desired. The home is in need of a deep clean, everything felt a bit dingy. Many window coverings were non-operable. Some higher quality bedding would definitely be an improvement. The shower heads are meant for those under 5 feet tall- not a deal breaker, but not great if your guests are taller. The home has incredible potential with just a few tweaks.
Host was quick to respond to any questions, condo was outfitted very nicely. Lots of extra blankets , towels , pillows. Wonderful weekend celebrating the marriage of our family our daughter.celebrating
Anyone who likes lake access should stay here. It's a great cabin/townhouse with a private stretch or beach and a pier. So simple to relax and play on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Thanks.
Resort is amazing!
Unit has a lot of space - 4 floors!
Kitchen needs some help! Better knives, new cookie sheets, more storage containers, matching glasses, etc.
Unit needs some attention to clean out unused items.
Rented this unit for a family reunion. The location and amenities of the development are superb. While the unit is dated, it had everything we needed for our 5 day stay and we were very comfortable there. Spent a lot of time at the beach/lake, pickleball, short drive to Tahoe City and Truckee River rafting and wonderful restaurants. Greg was very responsive to my questions and any concerns I had. The listing description appears to be old and after one of our conversations he updated the listing description immediately and added back in the premium TV channels. Thank you, Greg, for making our stay so wonderful.
This condo has a great location with views of the lake. Very quiet neighborhood and wonderful amenities. Close to Tahoe City. Equipped with all the essentials for basic meals. We had a great stay there and can't wait to come back with some friends.
House was cozy and met our needs. Not a fancy place but we were fine with that and was a great price. Was close to places to shop and eat. Great time of the year to go with just missing big crowds for holiday and summer starting. Stayed busy during the day and were only at home to sleep in the evenings. Thank you for opening your home for us to stay!
Loved the dining room/ living room area. Made ideal for lounging while others played games and built gingerbread houses at the dining table.
Beds were comfy… the kitchen was stocked with the cookware needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner including a meat thermometer. Enough dishes to set dinner table as well. On negative thing to mention is the kitchen a little small to fit three of us… but we knew that from the pictures.
The immediate area is cute too… Safeway and CVS about a seven minute drive. And we walked the strip that had a bookstore, a few art galleries and consignment stores. Overall had a positive experience.

In need of TLC
The last review from mid August is spot on! The property is in a great location, the pool/tennis facility was well maintained, and the beach is lovely! But the unit itself is definitely in need of maintenance. We stayed the week after Labor Day weekend, so at the tail end of the season, and some wear and tear can be expected. But the maintenance issues went a bit beyond our expectations for a a rental described as a "luxury" town home.
Kitchen: The kitchen is in dire need of updated tools and maintenance... There is only a 4 cup coffee pot, the cooking pans should have been replaced long ago (very tough to make scrambled eggs with totally scratched pans), the silverware is lacking (total of 5 forks), and the cooking tools are very old as well. The dishwasher isn't secured under the cabinet, it lurches out with the door open. A good trip to Ikea or Costco to replace most things would go a long way to make the kitchen more usable.
Living/Bedrooms: the layout of the unit is great, and larger groups have room to spread out. The TV and Internet work very well, as did the gas grill. But again there needs to be more frequent maintenance. Light bulbs all over the house need to be replaced, there are broken lamps spread throughout (some plugged in and missing bulbs), wires and cables everywhere (not great for small children), the window screens have dried out and rotted so they are missing, broken, or have tons of holes. The slider to the patio doesn't lock without a stick. The patio umbrella still sits broken since the last reviewer noted it. Unfortunately the unit has white carpet, which is hard to keep clean. And we agree with previous reviews from this summer that the beds aren't terrible but aren't great either. None of us slept too well.
Baths: The unit has 3 bathrooms. We never saw the top level since the door was locked upon arrival. We did contact the owner who promptly responded, but the suggestion on jiggling, as well as our attempts with screwdrivers didn't work. We never followed up with the owner, since we weren't using the top level. The lower level bath had a broken faucet. And the water it the two lower baths is either cold or scalding. The bath towels are in need of replacement as well.
Overall this unit has so much potential and should not be labeled as "luxury" but more as a "nice value." Hence the review with only 2 stars.
The place was immaculate. Close to what we needed. Great stay
