HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS HOST, THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THEIR PROPERTY OR THEIR GUESTS. Was advised when checking in on Friday that the previous guests left the water running and the well had ran out of water, host advised it would be back on in a few hours and left us 2 gallons of water (for 10 people), no other options given, nor empathy. 24 hours later still no running water… contacted the host who advised we could leave and get a refund or if we stay we aren’t eligible for any refund. It was Labor Day weekend with no availability elsewhere, and 10 people so it was impossible to find somewhere else. All was offered was to pay for water bought. We had to go elsewhere to shower and use the bathroom, which is absolutely unacceptable especially for the price… all we wanted was some sort of reimbursement for having to deal with no water, which is the most basic amenity, and we were denied anything. 10 people, no showers, no flushing the toilets and the host could not care less, very unprofessional and unsympathetic. Come Monday at check out, still no running water and no sign of any empathy from the host. The place itself has become so run down. We came last year for the same weekend, it was a brand new listing and it was great, this year not at all. The railing to the loft & the deck off the loft is SO UNSAFE, someone is going to get seriously hurt. Hot tub was also low since it couldn’t be filled for us and no propane for the grill…. max characters
