We are located less than a few miles from downtown, the Capitol complex, FSU, FAMU and TCC. We are also located near numerous restaurants, shopping, parks and Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Tucked into the woods, the Gathering offers peace, serenity and privacy to all of our guests while being conveniently located near the Capitol complex, FSU and FAMU. Our signature features includes eclectic furnishings with attention to details, hardwood floors and a private deck. Whether you are here for work or vacation, The Gathering is equipped to meet your needs. We offer high speed Wifi, televisions in each bedroom and the living room, a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances including a dishwasher, comfortable beds with plush bedding; two full bathrooms, a private deck and free onsite parking. So, come enjoy the comforts, beauty and conveniences The Gathering has to offer `At Home in the Heart of It All`!

Guests have full access to the entire stand alone home including the adjoining deck.

As stated above, we are located in the Old Town neighborhood of Tallahassee. It is a quiet, mature, downtown residential neighborhood minutes away from the Capitol complex, FSU and FAMU. Restaurants, shopping and parks are all within walking distance or a short car ride. We are truly `At Home in the Heart of It All`.

Parking is located on the property. Two covered parking spaces are reserved for guests at The Gathering. The neighborhood is good for walking, biking, driving and has convenient access to public transportation.

Cute Property and Great Location

The owners were very nice and made the check in process easy. The cleaning company was still there when we arrived at 5 but was finishing up.

The property was completely misrepresented in the listing. I arrived late with my son and the access alone was alarming. The driveway was a very long, narrow dirt road with concrete borders on both sides, barely wide enough to drive through safely. At the end of the driveway, the property turned out to be a compound of shacks, duplexes, and carports filled with junk, nothing like what was advertised.When we arrived, the owner came outside and behaved aggressively, yelling at us and frightening my son and me. The door code provided did not work, yet the owner continued to yell about it and ultimately called me crazy. I did not rent a duplex in a compound of shacks, nor did I agree to be confronted and intimidated by the owner.I felt completely unsafe due to the condition of the property and the behavior of the owner. I immediately asked for a refund. The owner kept my money and ignored all calls from VRBO. As a result, I had to leave and stay at a hotel for the week with my son. Also, there was no turnaround at the end of the driveway, which forced me to back up in the dark to exit the property.Losing 1,200 because a property was nothing like its listing and because the owner made us feel unsafe is unacceptable.
