The home owner was incredibly nice and accommodating. They even picked us up from the train station nearby, and answered any msg quickly. I really appreciated that. Great neighborhood. The actual apartment wasn't quite what was advertised, the place wasn't as classy as the vrbo pictures. Also i thought vrbo was all about having a place to yourself? I was woken up a few times by footsteps upstairs where the owner lives. No laundry detergent, no bbq, 1 1/2 rolls of tp provided. Not worth the cost in my opinion, but is a comfortable enough place to stay. I give it a "pretty alright" rating. A bit disappointing but i do give the owner credit for being super nice. Wouldn't book there again though.

The host was lovely and very responsive to messages. My biggest complaint is that we were expecting a 2 bedroom house and this is a 2 bedroom basement apartment in a house. There was a musty smell as there is with most basements. The smaller bedroom had a very uncomfortable bed and my husband had to sleep on the couch because of this. I’m glad we were only staying one night. The backyard is also much smaller than it looks in the pictures and there wasn’t any patio furniture to be able to sit outside. Again, the host was very friendly and the house was walking distance to a strip of restaurants, shops, etc. The listing should be updated to reflect the actual accommodation type so that people who may book in the future know exactly what they’re getting.

The ad said a two bedroom house which it was not. It was a damp basement. It was in need of some decoration and repairs. There were no glasses to use and only 3 plates and 3 dishes. The dishwasher wasn’t fitted correctly or had a cover on it. There didn’t appear to be a working smoke alarm. or There didn’t seem to be any egress windows they all looked relatively small. The bathroom was substandard the taps were corroded and the bottom of the shower tray leaked. It was noisy as there were people in units above. We have photos if need to support our complaints
