About this property

Timeless Architecture. Completely Modernized Luxury. Heart of Three Oaks!

Welcome to The Parish House —

This is where wedding mornings begin.

Where champagne is poured before the vows.

Where families linger longer at the table.

Where Notre Dame weekends turn into cherished traditions.

The Parish House isn’t just a place to stay — it’s where unforgettable moments unfold.

A Historic Landmark, Completely Reimagined

Originally built over 100 years ago as a church parish residence, this extraordinary home has been meticulously and completely renovated — preserving its architectural soul while elevating every detail to modern luxury standards. The perfect sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Nestled in the charming Village of Three Oaks, you’re steps from restaurants, wedding venues, art galleries, and antique shops — yet tucked into a quiet setting that feels entirely your own. And when the lake calls, the breathtaking shoreline of Lake Michigan is just 10 minutes away.

Step through the dramatic 8-foot iron doors and feel it immediately:

• Original 100-year-old hardwood floors
• Soaring 12- and 22-foot ceilings
• Elegant sconce lighting
• Grand open-concept living spaces
• A warm gas fireplace anchoring the room

The scale is impressive.
The atmosphere is intimate.
The experience is unforgettable.

Five Private King Suites — Boutique Hotel Comfort

Every bedroom is a retreat:

• King-size beds with plush, high-end linens
• Private ensuite bathrooms
• Soft robes and generous closets
• Fully stocked baths with premium essentials

All bathrooms are fully stocked with hairdryers, plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, face soap, and body wash.

One king suite includes a trundle with two twin beds — perfect for families who want to stay together without sacrificing comfort.

The beautifully finished lower level adds incredible flexibility with:

• A full second kitchen
• Two full bathrooms
• Two double XL bunk beds (four beds total), accommodating four comfortably — or up to eight if sharing.

There is space for everyone — without ever feeling crowded.

A Chef’s Kitchen Made for Celebration

At the heart of the home, the show-stopping kitchen was designed for gathering:

• 16-foot statement island
• Double refrigerators
• Three dishwashers
• Oversized dual-fuel gas range
• Walk-in pantry
• Dedicated bar area

It flows seamlessly into expansive dining and living spaces beneath dramatic 22-foot ceilings — the perfect setting for rehearsal dinners, holiday feasts, and late-night conversations that stretch for hours.

Designed for Elevated Gatherings

Perfect for:

• Wedding weekends
• Multi-family vacations
• Notre Dame game days
• Family reunions
• Harbor Country escapes

When you’re ready to explore, nearby Warren Dunes and Cherry Beach invite you to enjoy sandy shores and peaceful waters. Notre Dame fans will love that the stadium and South Bend Regional Airport are just 30 minutes away.

With high-speed WiFi, full HVAC comfort, a fitness area, and thoughtfully designed gathering spaces, The Parish House delivers both luxury and ease.

Spend the morning strolling into town for coffee.
Spend the afternoon at Warren Dunes or Cherry Beach — just minutes away.
Spend the evening around the table, together.

This is Harbor Country at its finest.

We have been making an annual SW Michigan trip for 15 years and this is among the best homes we’ve rented. The location is top notch in Three Oaks and the home far exceeds all expectations. Great bedrooms, tons of space and outstanding kitchen setup. I highly recommend and we will be back again in the future. Owners were great and very responsive to questions.

Tracy was awesome as a host! She provided us with all nice Dyson hairdryers, bathrooms in all rooms, and a huge sick basement with lots of areas to hang. I had 12 girls and it was so spacious. She also provided extra tables and chairs for us to do hibachi in the backyard one night! If I needed anything she was a quick text away which was super helpful.

Incredible and unique home!

We were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Parish house for a girls trip. The house is absolutely gorgeous and so unique, an old church converted into a house perfect for larger groups of friends or family! Every single detail has been thought out both in the design of the house and everything in it. Truly had everything you could need and more. Hosts were so very helpful and kind. If you are looking to stay in the charming town of Three Oaks, don’t hesitate to book here.

We stayed at The Parish House for my bachelorette party, and all of us loved the house! So much that many of the ladies are thinking about renting it in the future for family vacations. The communication with the owner was amazing. She answered all of our questions and you can tell by the details of the house that she thought of everything to make this house feel like a getaway home.We loved the walking distance to everything, that each bedroom has its own bathroom, the open spaces for lounging, the amazing kitchen with every gadget you can think of - it was all perfect! This house was so perfect for a weekend with my girlfriends - I can not recommend this place more!No complaints - the decor and details were amazing!

Exceeded Expectations, the perfect home for large groups

The house was absolutely as advertised. What you see in the photos is what you get in real life. The top floor couldn't be any more perfect. Five massive bedrooms with King beds that flows into a beautiful open concept kitchen that sits right on top of the family room. No shortage of bathrooms and the dual refrigerators with the state-of-the-art kitchen was impeccable. Three of other guys stayed in the room in the basement with plenty of room to spare and plenty of bathrooms as well. All the guys had a fantastic time outside playing catch with the Frisbee and throwing a football around hanging by the fireplace outside under the canopy as well. The host couldn't have been any nicer gave us our space but were there when we needed them in a flash.

Hidden Gem in the heart of Three Oaks

This property was absolutely stunning, and the attention to detail was immaculate. Despite being very aesthetically pleasing with high end finishes, the owner thought of EVERYTHING. Navigating the kitchen was a breeze with labeled drawers, we had every kitchen utensil we could need. Even the bathrooms came with cozy robes and plenty of amenities. We loved having double washer/dryer and double dishwashers (triple if you count the basement kitchen!) My family didn't know what to expect with Three Oaks; candidly, we were staying as a launch point to get to the beach in New Buffalo. But once there, we didn't want to leave! Everything was such a close walk, from the restaurants to a butcher shop and candy store, to the distillery and TONS of bars and restaurants. We even stumbled upon the most beautiful U-Pick flower farm just right up the road. We didn't want to leave! So much charm and SO MUCH to do in Three Oaks!

Hi! I was born and raised in Texas and married a man from Three Oaks! We currently live in the Dallas area. My husband and I met in the travel industry 29 years ago. We hope you love staying in our home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The business district in the Village of Three Oaks is four blocks long, and we are steps away from restaurants, Journeyman, antique shops, boutique shopping, and art galleries. Our home is located in Harbor Country, only 10 minutes from Lake Michigan! Journeyman is a 3-minute walk, but I walked it in 2 1/2-inch heels and a red solo cup full of Veuve champs in just under 4 minutes! Three Oaks is a hidden gem, and you will find everyone is friendly!

What makes this property unique

Our home was a church parish. We own the short-term rental next door (7 Linden), and the building pulled me in with its history. We approached the church pastor with an offer, and the next thing you know, we were gutting and building out a completely different space. It was truly a labor of love because it took 2 years to complete, but we love the history of the building! The original church of Three Oaks still stands in the back of our parking lot.
