About the host
Hosted by Tracy Strieter
Welcome to The Noble Oak! I was born and raised in Texas and married a proud Three Oaks native. We now call the Dallas area home, but a piece of our hearts has always remained here. My husband and I met 29 years ago while working in the travel industry, and our love of hospitality inspired us to create a place where guests can relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories. We hope you enjoy your stay at The Noble Oak as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
The business district in the Village of Three Oaks is four blocks long, and we are steps away from restaurants like Journeyman/Staymaker, antique shops, boutique shopping, and art galleries. Our home is located in Harbor Country, only 10 minutes from Lake Michigan! Journeyman is a 3-minute walk, but I walked it in 2 1/2-inch heels and a red solo cup full of Veuve champs in just under 4 minutes! Three Oaks is a hidden gem, and you will find everyone is friendly!
What makes this property unique
Our home was a church parish built in 1926. We own the short-term rental next door (7 Linden), and the building pulled me in with its history. We approached the church pastor with an offer, and the next thing you know, we were gutting and building out a completely different space. It was truly a labor of love because it took 2 years to complete, but we love the history of the building! The original church of Three Oaks still stands in the back of our parking lot.
