Casa Kon Tiki is decorated in a casual, comfortable style with pops of cheerful color and hints of Polynesia. There are cool tile floors throughout and it is furnished with locally crafted furniture. It has four large bedroom suites with full bathrooms, and self-controlled air conditioning systems. The two "Master" bedrooms include flatscreen TV's and beautifully tiled outdoor showers. The four suites surround an enclosed, landscaped courtyard and private pool perfect for family fun/peaceful sunbathing. A separate Great Room includes a comfortable sofa and 60" flatscreen TV, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen perfect for any chef. Pool deck offers another half bath and pool deck shower, along with a fun outdoor bar complete with fridge, freezer, and BBQ grill. Up the spiral staircase, you will enjoy the large palapa roof-top lounge. Dine, play a game, or swing in a hammock among the breezy tree-tops and take a peek at the ocean just beyond. THE perfect spot for yoga practice or a massage from a local masseuse!

Our rental management company, Nicaragua Family Getaways, is located in Hacienda Iguana and we are around and available for anything you might need and any to help with any questions or concerns you might have. We provide an info guide in the house, with information on activities, hikes, day trip ideas, maps, a restaurant guide, local restaurant menus etc.

Within the community we have Satori Spa and Gift Shop, Scoops and Spokes icecream/coffee shop/bike rentals, 2 grocery stores, ATM, 4 restaurants - Pili's Kitchen, Vana Tacos, Don Eloy's sports bar and Nicaraguan cuisine Casa Maderas.

We will be happy to schedule airport pick-ups, boat fishing trips, boat surfing trips, horse back riding on the beach, spa treatments, food packages, etc.

Great Layout

Pictures didn't do the house justice. The layout was great with the pool in the middle, and essentially 4 private suites surrounding the pool. This worked great for the large family we had staying. The house was clean and comfortable. The games area was great bonus, where the kids could go once the sun was down and hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. We hope to be back!

Wonderful!

Super ideal property. Ideal location to walk to both surf breaks and a great house for fun as the upstairs palapa is a fantastic hangout spot. Beds were comfortable and AC works well! The local staff were also so friendly and wonderful to chat with. Our only complaint was the need for a few more pool sticks for the pool table ;) !!! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Casa Con Tiki was absolutely awesome! We loved the layout and the unbeatable location—just steps across from the beach path, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean every day.The palapa was a favorite hangout spot—perfect for reading in the hammock during the day and a great place for the teens to relax in the evening. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessities, and the house offered plenty of games for quality family time.The cleaning lady and pool cleaner were both very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. It’s worth noting that laundry is only available when the cleaning lady is there, but she kindly did our laundry for a tip, which we were happy to give and really appreciated.A few things to be aware of: the listing mentioned TVs in every room, but there was only one large TV in the living area (which worked fine for us). We had visits from some local wildlife—a friendly cat who became our outdoor pet, raccoons at night, and even a monkey!The bugs were a bit of a downside, especially ants—we found clusters in the toilet when fixing a flush issue, and another group under the exit door by the kitchen. Water pressure also varied—one side of the house had excellent pressure, while the other had almost none.That said, the outdoor showers in the two master bedrooms were such a cool and unique feature!Overall, we truly loved the house, the location, and the experience. We’d definitely stay again!
