The property is very comfortable and clean. It was exactly what we had hoped for in a multigenerational family vacation. The host was very responsive, and the nearby Stop and Shop is the most comprehensive supermarket. The neighborhood is a dense historic working class neighborhood. My husband took long walks around the neighborhood and felt safe. As a single woman, I would hesitate a bit. With a car you have easy access anywhere in Boston.
We stayed at this property for a girlfriends trip. All of us 65. The house is very clean and wonderfully restored and decorated. We traveled to and around Boston by train and uber. There is a Dollar General, Target and gas station near this house. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend this property.
We were in town for the Boston Marathon. Easy to get downtown by train. House was well updated and had everything we needed. Grocery store was close to do our shopping. Not the greatest area but we were with a group so we felt safe.
We did not end up staying at this property. The property Host did not communicate for check in info nor communicate until I reached a VRBO representative . The location of the property was very unsafe. Now I understand why the host would not provide check in info until after 2 hours calling him and after check in time. They’re were drug dealers knocking on our car windows and front door of property and Hookers hanging around . They can verify all this info on the cameras . My family was not safe at this location this is why I end up getting another home.
