Bay Oaks Condos are a great location on Siesta Keys to enjoy both ends of the island. The condo worked out fine for us. The pool area is great fyi, you loose most of the sun by 3pm. We had a car and drove to the beach - free public transportation is available- but it’s too far to walk. Three of our favorite restaurants are Mango Cafe, Spearfish, and Big Water.

Vacation stay

The listing is incorrect as it says its 7 minutes to the closet public beach. Public beach access #12 is a good 30 mins walk if not longer. #12 beach does not have facilities you'll need to drive further to the main beach in siesta key. Condo is pretty outdated. Light fixtures were dusty and the condo could use a deeper cleaning such as trim and doors. Mainly upset that beach was not walking distance like it was listed online.
