About this property

This spacious 5-bedroom home includes a large deck for BBQs or to enjoy a spiced beverage by the fireplace, surrounded with wooded scenery, wildlife, & seasonal mountain views. Walk along one of the backyard or neighborhood trails with private waterfall viewing *details in welcome booklet. Delight in the entertainment area with ping-pong and board-games, making it the perfect retreat. Explore local stores and resort amenities. Whether you're hiking to one of the waterfalls, skiing, golfing, or fishing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
*Additional details~
We have a 5 bedroom home with large windows lining the back of the primary floor, allowing the space to feel one with its natural surroundings. And because the primary floor is raised, you feel like you're high up (already being 3500 ft. Elevated). You can access the exterior onto the large, brand-new deck (yes we went ahead and re-did that too for safety, seated views, and BBQs -even added a dinner bell! There are several, private trails, included one we have created (and still forging) and several that already existed, exclusive to this particular neighborhood. Luxurious, neutral carpeted bedrooms, roman shades, and hardwood floors exist in the primary floor. We've been told our beds and couches are comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and the fridge is large. Grab a roast for Ingles, set to low in the 15Q crockpot for easy dinners. For the aesthetic, I've kept some of the traditional decor-American antiques, added braided, area rugs, and hanging, blue & white plates. Finally, in the "Bear Den," there's a gaming area with puzzle, poker, and ping-pong tables. The home is priced reasonably for the area. The homeowner pays annually for access to the resort amenities, private security services/Blue Ridge Public Safety, and while guests are charged of $5/day ages 14+ to access to pools, health club, mini-golf, hot tub, lake, etc, you are still paying an upcharge to golf, ski, zipline (also open to public), but you do still get a significant discount by staying at this home.
More about proximity of our home and the area:
Sapphire Valley Resort/Rec Center-7 minute drive
Seasonally-Sapphire Ski-7 minutes
Red Bird Golf-7 minutes
Gorges State Park-12 minute drive
Fairfield Lake (included/private)-8 minutes
The Resort is for *members only* (that's you when you stay at this home) and includes hot tubs, swimming, running track, basketball, gym, heated indoor and outdoor pools, playground, dog park, putt-putt, zip line, high ropes course, ski (public/discounted), lake/canoeing, fishing, pool tables, arcade, festivals, music, events, restaurant, special events).
If you've ever been to Sapphire Valley, the consensus is, it's like heaven on Earth! The neighborhood and community really includes every single thing you could ask for-a "small town" with boutique shops, friendly locals (and visitors), detached houses in a low-density, residential area, friendly bears even *within reason and some distance*, wildlife, and nature, and smooth roads, even! The home is situated far enough from busier traffic, very close proximity to all the amenities, shopping, etc. Private waterfall trails.

Why they chose this property
If you've ever been to Sapphire Valley, the consensus is, it's like heaven on Earth! The neighborhood really includes every single thing you could ask for-quality roads, people, detached houses in a low-density, residential area, friendly bears even *within reason and some distance** and tons of wildlife-situated far enough from busier traffic, very close proximity to all the amenities, shopping, etc. Private waterfall trails.
What makes this property unique
We have a 5 bedroom home with large windows lining the back of the primary floor, allowing the space to feel one with it's natural surroundings. And because the primary floor is elevated, you feel like you're elevated (already being 3500 feet up). You can access the exterior onto the large, brand-new deck (yes we went ahead and re-did that too for safety, seated views, and BBQs). Luxurious, neutral carpeted bedrooms, roman shades, and hardwood floors in main areas add to your comfort. There are several, private trails that we created (and still forging) and that exist exclusive to this neighborhood. I've kept some of the traditional decor-antiques, added "American" woven area rugs, and blue & white hanging plates. BUT for fun in the "Bear Den," there's a gaming area with puzzle, poker, and ping-pong tables. The home is priced reasonably for the area. The homeowner pays annually for access to the resort amenities, private security services/Blue Ridge Public Safety, and while guests are charged of $5/day ages 14+ to access to pools, gym, minigolf, hot tub, lake, etc, you are still paying an upcharge to golf, ski, zipline, etc, you do still get a significant discount on those when you stay with us. Still, with food costs, SHOPPING, and everything else we want you to enjoy, it adds up so we keep that in mind with our nightly rate and it's our heart's delight seeing larger parties enjoy our space!
