This house was perfect for our multi family trip to the snow. We had a blast sledding out the back door and building snowmen. The kitchen was fully stalked with dishes for our large group. The kids loved the game room downstairs and the grown ups enjoyed the beautiful view from the den upstairs. The host was receptive and kind. Great choice!

Disliked: Communication, location
Before I arrived i believe there were 5 separate reminders to be quiet. It felt like i was being micromanaged and nearly cancelled the rental. I would not say that was the most welcoming customer service I've received. No AC. Take this under consideration if visiting during the summer. Guests weren’t thrilled. The bbq was not cleaned prior to our arrival. In fact when we turned it on it started a pretty severe grease fire we needed to contain. I'd suggest having the bbq cleaned regularly. At 7:20pm the neighbor yelled at us aggressively to be quiet when we were on the deck. We were respectful and not overly loud. In fact, i walked around the house multiple times to ensure there wasn't excessive noise coming from the house. After he yelled, it really ruined the mood. The house was clean and well kept. I would consider staying here again if the property manager improved relations with the neighbor.

We're sorry to hear about the issue with the neighbor and the bbq. I shared the issue with the bbq with the cleaning supervisor, to address with the involved cleaning team and ensure it's cleaned between groups. We apologize for bombarding you with messages about the local ordinances. The county has become more strict regarding noise and the other ordinances lately, and like to confirm these work with the groups and send a reminder as we get closer to checkin. They aren't hard to violate if unaware of them. We'll take a look and see if we can tone these down at all. We also plan to connect with the neighbor and see what we can do to limit conflict. We don't currently have A/C. We do have extra fans if needed, and they do help, along with the cooler nights (in 40-50s in the summer). Thanks again for the feedback. We'd love another chance to host and provide a better experience next time.
