Welcome to your cozy getaway in the heart of Colorado Springs! This thoughtfully updated 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage combines modern upgrades with original charm. With two king beds, an inviting living space, and a private outdoor area, it's the perfect landing point for couples, friends, or small families looking for a relaxing stay close to everything the city has to offer.

The Space
Inside, you'll find a warm and welcoming layout with a seamless flow between the living room and kitchen. The living area features a comfy sofa and Smart TV, perfect for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. The updated gourmet kitchen offers plenty of counter space and all the essentials to cook your favorite meals with ease.
- Bedroom 1 (Main Level): A soft, king-size bed with easy bathroom access (bathroom entry is through this bedroom).
- Bedroom 2 (Loft): A unique loft space with a king-size bed. Please note: this area has low ceilings and is accessed by a ladder, be sure to view the photos before booking to make sure it's right for your group.

Outdoor Space
Step outside to enjoy your outdoor area, complete with a propane fire pit, grill, and seating to relax under the Colorado skies. The fenced yard provides space for pets to stretch, but there are some openings that small dogs could slip through, please keep this in mind if you're traveling with small pets.

Location
This home is tucked behind the main property and accessed via the alley, offering added privacy. You'll be just minutes from Downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs, perfect for exploring local shops, restaurants, and coffee spots. Plus, Garden of the Gods and hiking trails are only a short drive away. Parking for up to two cars is available in the back alley.

- Mini-Split provided to keep the home comfortable all summer with AC.
- Bathroom access is through Bedroom 1.
- Loft bedroom has low ceilings and ladder access only, please review photos.
- Pet-friendly (up to 2 pets). Pet fee of $75 per pet does apply. Please supervise small dogs in the fenced yard.
- Access is via alley; this is the back cottage on the property.

We lovingly restored this home to highlight its charm while adding all the comforts of modern living. We fell in love with it after completion, and we're excited to share it with you!

Great location, great accommodations!

Significant thought was put into the design, decor and supplies. The kitchen was well-equipped. We'll book this place again the next time we are in town.

this place is not nice as photos indicated. Yard and exterior are disappointing… dirty paint, debris in yard, etc. Tired, cheap bedding sheets/comforter. Flooring is deteriorating, loose boards, soft subfloor. No bedside lamps (!?) and wire bedside (not!?) tables let your phone, personal items fall to the floor. Shower curtain had thick petri-dish disgusting goop growing at the bottom of it. Dryer did not work properly. No broom available to sweep up. Exterior gate did not work to secure the property… good thing we didn’t have our dog with us this trip! We aren’t picky! We just expect places to be clean/good repair as our home away from home on vacation.

Overall good stay.

Super clean and cozy. Small house is located in the alley behind a bigger house on a very busy street, but it was pretty quiet and a good yard for the dogs. I would say there are several holes in the fence where the dogs could potentially get out, but we did not intend to leave them there unsupervised so it was fine. It’s not completely located within walking distance of much so you would want to bring bikes if you don’t want to drive. Perfect for 2 people. The bed was super comfortable. The check in process could have been smoother.

Family Ski Trip

This was a great place to stay for our family ski trip! We walked to the gondola with no problems, it was a reasonable walk. This condo was close and convenient to some restaurants and has a small convenient store in the lobby area which was very helpful. The hosts were very helpful and quick to reply, check in was easy and we had no issues, thanks for a great stay!

Keystone Ski Trip

All went well at this location. Everything was clean, updated, and well thought out. The location was within walking distance of the gondola. The updated bathroom was wonderful . There are nice added touches such as, mood lighting, real dishes and utensils, and comfy blankets. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Good location and Okay Room

Overall I would stay at this location at The Gateway again but not at this particular property. This location is walkable to the Gondola and especially River Run Village. In ski boots it is borderline walkable but doable. The shuttle stop is right outside the building and the shuttle works great if you time it right. The indoor pool and hot tub a really convenient and good. The communication from the owner was very poor. I felt like I was bothering them the whole time. The sheets for the sleeper sofa were wadded up, visibly dirty, and had a VERY strong body odor. We asked for clean sheets. After going back and forth for 2 days with messages and them saying they brought them and they did not, we finally got clean sheets for the sofa halfway through our stay. It was gross. Also, there was an odd odor in the bathroom, something like dirty gym socks. The main bed was comfortable. The HVAC worked well. The shower was good. There is a small refigerator, sink, and microwave. The Keurig coffee pot worked well. There was some coffee there for it and you may want to bring some of your favorites as well. Another good point is they didn't require any extensive checkout list. If you need a TV then definitely look elsewhere. There's no TV service for the TV and YouTube nor YouTubeTV will work. It had nothing to do with our account (they definitely didn't have an account to use it with!). Something with the TV would not allow any licensed content which includes any kind of movie, TV shows, or sporting events. Only a non-licensed YouTube video was possible. I even factory reset the TV. Same! I don't know if this is because it's a gray market TV or what, but it doesn't work. Overall, we had a great trip at this location but I couldn't recommend this place. Your experience may be different and if you try it I truly hope it is.
