Great week hiking vs skiing

My family of 5 were super comfortable in this home. There was plenty of room, a new washer/dryer and a great, easy to use hot tub! My favorite thing was the location, we were able to walk into town on the path and didn't need to use the car! The beds are very cozy too! Highly recommend!

Look No Further

Look no further..... the place is absolutely fantastic and exactly as described. The location could not have been any better and we were able to walk into Lionshead and Vail very easily... and it's a beautiful walk along the river. The place has a great deck and new hot tub for relaxing at the end of the day, the beds were super comfortable, bathrooms all re-done and a new washer dryer had just arrived while we were there. The hosts are very responsive and this place checks all the boxes. We would definitely rent here again.

Vail Getaway

Enjoyed the stay! Plenty of room, the place was clean and quiet. A real fireplace was nice to have in the evenings and warmed things up after long days skiing.

West Vail

We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. The location and price were very good! Beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean. Overall it was close to a five star package. We dont mind taking the shuttle buses so being away from the village is not a factor.

Thank you for the positive review Tom. Our housekeepers work very hard to provide a clean property for all guests so we are always pleased to receive such positive feedback. It makes our team so happy to know that another guest had a great trip.

Ski week at Vail

Great condo within walking distance to the free shuttle bus and/or cascade lift. There are trout in the creek so don’t forget your fly rod. The camera facing the hot tub is a bit uncomfortable. Kitchen has everything you need in it for making meals. Beds are comfortable.

We never used the unit. No snow in Vail. I think that working with an individual owner vs a management company would have made for a better experience in all of our interactions.

Thank you for reading this review response. For future guests, we want to provide a bit more context about booking and what to expect when planning your stay. Travel plans—especially those dependent on weather conditions like snow—can sometimes change. We always recommend considering travel insurance or flexible booking options when planning trips tied to seasonal conditions, as our cancellation policy as well as third party platform policies are applied consistently regardless of weather. As a professionally managed property, our goal is to provide reliable, consistent service, clear communication, and 24/7 support throughout the booking and stay process. We understand that preferences vary, and we aim to be as transparent as possible so guests can choose the booking experience that best suits their needs. We understand the disappointment in the weather and hope for better this next season. As always - out team is here for any questions you may have before, during or after your stay!

Close to Lionshead Gondola

The townhouse was less than 5 minutes from the Lionshead gondola. With 5 sleeping areas, the townhouse provided more than ample space for me and two other men residing in the house. The property was well-equipped with all required appliances, kitchen utensils, plates, pots and pans. I was pleasantly surprised to find seasonings and other food staples in the kitchen. All and all, we had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this property. Matthew, New Orleans, LA

We loved the cabin and everything in it. We did not like that Expedia showed a total amount when paying and was charged $57 more dollars than what was shown. Contac Expedia and said that was with Vrbo, they say their fee was missing the tax which was NOT shown at time of paying. Contact MOUNTAIN VACATION LODGING OF VAIL & BEAVER CREEK which were the ones who send our confirmation and said they never have contact with Vrbo they just put the properties on their web page. So not Expedia, nor Vrbo, nor MOUNTAIN VACATION LODGING OF VAIL & BEAVER CREEK will return our $57 usd. We’ve been using Expedia for over 23 years and this never happened before.

Best bang for your dollar in Vail.

This property is perfect for a group on a Vail vacation. It has plenty of room and beds. A well stocked kitchen and even a washer and drier. It is a short walk to the free shuttle into Vail or if your skiing and don’t mind a little longer walk you can walk to the Cascade Lift. We did both. It has parking for two vehicles. I had a question and called the property manager and they picked up on the first ring. They called back within 10 minutes with my answer. An all around great spot and I highly recommend a stay here.

Great option for groups

Our group enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for everyone and nearby the mountain. The house was also very clean and well-stocked with the essentials for a long weekend, including plenty of wood for the fireplace.

Yes it's a good value, but very old and outdated in every sense.

**Property is under new ownership as of February 2021. New owners are regularly working on upgrades** We welcome the feedback and use it to continue improving. This property is attended to very diligently by the owners. The kitchen ,main floor, and bathroom on that floor were remodeled 5 years ago. Perhaps stylistically one could think it was dated but in terms of quality and maintenance, all those aspects are new within the last 5 years. The deck and outside stucco were all redone 2 years ago. The property itself is slightly older, as are many homes in Vail. That said. the owners are meticulous about cleanliness and maintenance of their home. In general we've had guests describe the home as 'cozy and comfortable.' The decor is represented in the photos and might not be the preference of some but most haven't had any issues with it. Since decor is personal preference, we have focused on maintaining and upgrading items in our home such as flooring, walls, appliances, furniture, bedding, etc. As we started by saying, we welcome feedback and want guests to know that we take this feedback to heart and are always working to improve on our home so guests have the best stay possible!
