The property was excellently situated to enjoy the bluegrass festival. Easy access to downtown, festival grounds, etc. Be aware that there is no AC in the unit and the only way to cool it down is to open the windows. If you are booking during a music festival you will hear the performances loud and clear. You will also hear the festival attendees leaving the grounds and partying in the streets all night long.

Hi Ronald! Sorry you were unaware by no AC but we don’t advertise that and it’s pretty much nonexistent in about 95% of units in Telluride given nighttime temperature still hit 40°. Glad you enjoyed the proximity for the festival as it doesn’t get much closer than that! During non-festival times this is about as quiet a corner you can find in Telluride so it really is the perfect base camp for the festivals or a quiet retreat all other times
We could not have been more pleased with The High Life. The condo is beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you need during your stay...comfortable bed with new linens, thick new bath towels, the kitchen is outfitted with everything you need for cooking and eating there if you choose. And the VIEW! It's even more fabulous than the photo here. The location is ideal for nature walks - the river trail is right out your door! We loved sitting outside on the deck, and enjoyed visiting with neighbors - some were owners while others were guests. We found the location great being a 10 minutes walk (for seniors) to the Gondola Station and 5 minutes to the heart of Main Street. We used the Galloping Goose bus to navigate easily around town. We also appreciated the very detailed information guide we had at our fingertips in an app provided ahead of our visit for our cellphone which provided answers for just about anything we needed to know. We highly recommend The High Life, and our host Luke Brown. We look forward to staying there on our next visit.
