Perched just 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Bryson City and 20 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance, Lookout Lodge is a spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom retreat framing breathtaking, year-round mountain panoramas. The tastefully appointed interior features an open floor plan, a gas fireplace (non-functional), a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, and sleeping quarters that include a primary king suite with a spa-like bath, a second king bedroom with a private balcony, a main-floor queen bedroom, and a fourth room with two double beds. Outside, expansive decks, a soothing hot tub, a charcoal grill, and easy access to nearby tubing, fly fishing, ziplining, and waterfall hikes make this luxurious lodge the ultimate basecamp for unforgettable family getaways.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lookout lodge was absolutely the best cabin we have stayed in. The view is absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. It is very roomy and spacious. The game room was great because we had a table to play our games at. The beds were very comfy. The master bedroom has a tv which was great. The only suggestion I would make is to add tvs to the other bedrooms! We will most definitely stay here again!

Get away with my girlfriend

Awesome views!!

The house was clean, beautiful, and secluded!! Views were amazing. Hot tub and game room were great during our down time. We had a great week. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Great time, perfect weather

Pros: great view, room for 7 adults to have private space, loved the hot tub! We were comfortable and had a really nice family reunion with perfect weather. Cons (more like fyi, bring stuff): bring spices/oils for cooking, wine glasses (only 2 there), ice if you need right away, charcoal (listing orig said gas grill, removed from listing now).

Beautiful view

The water issue was fixed before our arrival, but hot tub and air hockey were both broke. The house and view were both beautiful .

Girls trip

The view is picture perfect! There is plenty of room we were a party of 8 adults. There is no shower on the main floor so it was a challenge for those with knee problems who stayed on the main floor.

The property was beautiful. The view was amazing, above what we could have expected. It was the perfect place to decompress. Get away from the hustle and bustle. It went beyond our expectations. We just wish we had more time to spend here. Such tranquility.

Great Views from the Mountain Top!

Can’t say enough about the views we woke up to every morning! Kitchen was well stocked, the kids loved the foosball table, and plenty of towels was a great surprise! Only have two things that could be looked into. Turning around was a little difficult from the driveway and would have liked to have had clean windows to view the mountains through. Other than that, a great property to stay in if you have a decent sized crowd.

Amazing View!

We had a wonderful stay here. The view of the mountains was breathtaking and that alone would make me stay here again. The house was beautiful and i loved the kitchen. The only down side to the kitchen was the cooking utensils we're not the best. Miss matched pots and pans that were falling apart and half them i had to wash before using becuase they seemed dirty. They rest of the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again

If you’re want a place to be secluded and have an amazing view inside the mountains this is it.

This property is amazing just sitting on top of a mountain with amazing views plus all the amenities you’re ever going to need on vacation. If you have a group this is definitely a spot because every room in the house is spacious even the bathrooms. Nothing negative to say but a couple things I think should be noted if you’re hauling a trailer as we do there is very little turnaround you do have a place to park it’s just tricky getting it in there and you should take plenty of your own bottled water Some of the guys with me did not enjoy the taste of local water.

Amazing views!

The views are absolutely amazing!! The house is great as well, absolutely beautiful decor! There was a few things that were broken in the house; the chess table falls to pieces when you pull the drawer out, the air hockey table is missing a counter on one side and the score board doesn’t work, the curtain rod in the room with the balcony fell down multiple times, and the hot tub didn’t get hot; it was actually cold! Other than the few minor things, we had a great trip!!

King Wedding

We traveled from Pennsylvania to attend a wedding. When we first arrived there was no water and the property manager did not tell us this which was an inconvenience because we had to use the next-door cabin’s bathroom until the next day. Other than that the stay was very comfortable, the house was clean and the views were absolutely amazing!

Couldn’t get to our cabin due to icy road.

Due to the road being icy we couldn’t drive up to our cabin and there was another car stuck on road leading to our cabin. Just keep in mind there is a chance you may not be able to stay at the cabin you have booked if you are traveling in winter.

Hi there. We have multiple cabins at very high elevation. Unfortunately, sometimes during the winter months, we experience bits of snow and ice in this area. When we know that the weather is coming, we call all of our renters at higher elevations to give them a warning that this instance could occur. We offer to move them to another available cabin at a lower elevation with similar amenities and price range. We were able to put you in another cabin without delay to accommodate your stay. We are sorry that you were unable to stay in the cabin you originally booked, but the safety of our guests is important to us. We hope that despite the change in cabins you were able to enjoy your stay with us in these beautiful mountains.
