ABBOTT'S COTTAGES, Avocet cottage- 3 bdrm/2bath, walking distance to downtown

A beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bath house perfect for families and groups. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Just a 0.7 mile walk to the plaza.

There are other cottages (another 3-bedroom, two 1-bedrooms and a studio) on the property if you are looking for more than one place. Just let us know!

Note: Abbott's Cottages is a small family business made up of 9 cottages, all within walking distance to downtown. We have been renting our cottages to tourists in Ashland for 25 years and we usually get 5 star reviews on our other booking platforms. We took a break from renting through VRBO but now we are back- just to explain when you see no reviews! We also have cottages at other locations and soon they will be listed here- in the meantime you can look up Abbott's Cottages to view them all :)

We were very pleased with Abbott’s Cottages, four of which our group of 10 friends rented for five days. Since we all like to cook (and eat), we were delighted at how well equipped the kitchens were—everything we needed was there. The courtyard was lovely in the summer—we pulled the outdoor tables together and enjoyed each other’s company. The Cottages are far enough off Main Street to be quiet, and the Shakespeare Festival is about a mile away, a pleasant walk in good weather. In short, A accommodation! We hope to come back next year.

Weekend family meet up

It was 5 adults meeting for the weekend. The house is adorable. It could fit a lot more people easily. It is a good location, clean and cute as a button.
