The property is absolutely beautiful. Great views and a wonderful central location to all the New England states have to offer. We made quick trips to Boston, Salem, the Maine coast and up through very scenic New Hampshire mountains. The property is massive with enough to do for our entire family and more than enough room to spread out and yet functional enough for quality time. The property had almost every amenity needed for a family of 6 with enough left over. Communication was top notch from the time we booked to the time we left. If we are ever in this area again will be sure to look up and see if this property is available!
We had a wonderful stay with 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 3, 11 and 13). The home is very impressive from an architectural and interior design standpoint while at the same not being too ornate to not feel like a home. The management company was fantastic and responded to every question before and during our visit almost immediately. We look forward to our next visit!
What a wonderful experience! Tyler was a communicative, flexible, and amazing host - THE best I've had with VRBO rentals. The property has stunning views and amazing amenities. Best VRBO experience I've every had. I actually give it 6 stars out of 5!! Highly recommend Tyler and Meadow View Manor. Will certainly book this property in the future.
We had an absolutely wonderful time! Both Tyler and John were very responsive to our needs. There is room for everyone to be together and have alone time. I highly recommend this property. Thank you!
This house is perfection! If you are planning a stay with family this is the place to do it. There were 13 of us and with all the bedrooms spaced out around the house we had so much privacy. The kitchen is designed for numerous people to be cooking at the same time. There were so many rooms to sit and relax as well as things to do to keep everyone entertained. And, of course, the pool. It doesn’t get any better. I have spent time at many rentals across the country and I have never had such a good experience with a host. Tyler was so responsive before our stay and answered all my questions in a more than timely fashion. He met us there to show us around the house and was still available during our stay to answer yet more questions that we had. Thank you, Tyler, for making our stay a success. A great experience all around!
Tyler was an excellent host and due to all the nuances, was there to greet us to show us how to work some of the characteristics of the house (A/C, pool, sauna, etc.). House was very clean and was a great location to make family memories. Had 11 people stay there very comfortably. Not far from Portsmouth and tons of hiking close by. We loved using the kitchen every night and seeing the deer in the backyard every morning and evening. The master bedroom is beautiful and loved sitting and reading in the beautiful setting. Plenty of space for the kids to do their own thing when not all together. Would definitely stay there again!

The house itself was as described, but the property management was extremely poor, and the number of problems we had made this the most disappointing VRBO we’ve stayed in.The biggest issue was the pool, which was advertised as heated but was not during our entire stay because they allowed the house to run out of heating oil. It was the main reason we chose this property, so this was a major failure of the primary amenity we paid for. It significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the property and severely affected our vacation. We also had no hot water Monday night through Tuesday evening. Service people were at the house for 3 hours, disrupting our vacation even further. A lawn company arrived early in the morning and began mowing and spraying chemicals, which left the lawn unusable and created an unpleasant smell. A lawn mower was operating directly outside the primary bathroom while the bathroom was being used. The bathroom had no curtains or blinds, so this created a very serious privacy issue. This was far more than a few minor inconveniences. We lost hot water for nearly a day, had no heated pool — the primary reason we booked — plus privacy and multiple maintenance issues. We spent much of our one annual family vacation dealing with service personnel and disruptions instead of enjoying it. Compensation was less than one night’s rent and completely inadequate given the impact. We would not stay here again or recommend it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry that several issues affected your stay and understand how frustrating it was to experience disruptions during a family vacation.
We would like to clarify a few details. The hot water issue was reported in the morning and was addressed on the same day. The property is enrolled in automatic oil delivery and we have investigated why the tank unexpectedly ran out. Once we became aware that it was the issue, we arranged an emergency refill and restored the hot water.
Regarding the pool, once the oil was replenished the heating system needed time to bring the large volume of pool water back to temperature. We inspected the system following your departure and did not find an ongoing problem with the pool heater.
We also sincerely apologize for the unexpected lawn service. We normally receive advance notice so visits can be coordinated around guests and we have addressed this with the lawn company. We understand your concern regarding privacy in the primary bathroom. However, we would like to clarify that the bathroom is not visible from outside the property, so the lawn crew would not have had a view into the bathroom while performing their work.
The other issues were reported late in the evening before departure and at your request, we scheduled it to be addressed after checkout. We checked those items but it was found operating normally.
We regret that these circumstances negatively affected your experience. Our team made every effort to respond promptly to each concern brought to our attention during the stay and we appreciate the feedback as we continue working to improve the guest experience.
We spent a week at Meadow View Manor with our family of 20, and it was wonderful! The pictures truly do not do it justice. The home is beautiful inside and out, with pristine bedrooms, bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. It has the feel of a high-end hotel with all the warmth and comfort of a home. The layout was perfect for our large group. We could all gather and interact on the main floor while having plenty of spaces to retreat to on the top and bottom floors when needed. With an elevator to assist those that needed it and to bring our luggage to our rooms easily. The bunk room was a hit with the cousins, giving them a space to hang out and chat without keeping the parents up late. While we enjoyed excursions to the nearby lake for hiking, as well as farther jaunts for horseback riding, visits to North Conway and Saco, the house itself could have kept us entertained all week. The pool table, chess and game table, foosball, and darts provided endless fun, and the pool and sauna were enjoyed by all throughout our stay. With a 17,000-square-foot house, we had a few hiccups, but Tyler and his team were quick to respond and take action to ensure we were comfortable and everything was working well. Additionally, we mistakenly had an Amazon package delivered after we left, and Tyler readily worked with us to send the package to the correct location.Meadow View Manor was the perfect place for our family to relax and reconnect. We highly recommend it!
We had a great time there! Kids had a blast in the pool! The house was very clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive and helpful. Great view!
Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The property was clean, and the management company was excellent before, during, and after our trip. I would highly recommend this rental, and plan to stay again in the future
