This charming Mexican Colonial home is nestled in the exclusive neighborhood of Conchas Chinas. Only 2 minute walk to the beach. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and a year round flowing river. It has a large swimming pool and lounge area. This 1000 sqft , 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom, sofa bed, kitchen and large sun soaked terrace condo looks out to the most beautiful view of the Bay of Banderas. 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the popular Los Muertos Beach and Romantic Zone and amazing restaurants.
Air conditioning in the bedroom only.

**Please note this is a quiet place in a small quiet complex. It is not suitable for parties or loud gatherings. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect place for you.

A wonderful stay…the views are exceptional! Lots of walking to get around but we knew that coming in. Would return in a heartbeat!

Great stay

We fully enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing and the walk to town was not had bad as we thought. The community is quite and everyone we met were nice. The pool is a great place to relax. The unit was clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing View!

My husband and I spent a fabulous week at Canada Verde - 3B. It is a beautiful one bedroom condo with everything you need for your vacation stay. The bedroom has an air conditioner and ceiling fan for your comfort. There are two full bathrooms with showers and a daybed in the living room for a third person. The main area of the condo opens up to the wonderful views and sounds of nature and the ocean. The large balcony has two comfortable lounge chairs and a table seating for four with a small barbecue. It was perfect for what we needed. The living room has a table for two with front row seating to the spectacular view. There is a large courtyard with a private heated pool, tables and lounge chairs. Most of the week we were the only ones in the pool. It is just a short 15 minute walk to old town. You can take the beach or there is a small cobble road just a couple hundred feet up on the main road that runs behind the villas. Not into walking...just walk up the the main road and hail a taxi or catch the bus for about 80 cents. Maha the owner and Joel her assistant were very accommodating and helpful and quick to get back to us whenever we had a concern. We would defiantly go back again.

Never Again

Complex is old and tired but adequate; however, condo was permeated for much of the time with a very strong sewage smell. The owner who was aware of the problem suggested we use the condo aromatizers which did not help at all. On top of that, we were informed during our stay that the complex was going to be fumigated including all units and common areas and we would have to vacate for 4 hours. We asked them to postpone until after we left as we did not want to inhale the fumes, but they refused to do so. As a result, we left three days early to avoid the fumigation. Also, on one occasion (at 2 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.) there was no running water, as in no flushing the toilet or showering) and on another, the day we left, the water was again turned off but we were not told. The fact that VRBO advertises a unit does not mean it will be satisfactory. Buyer beware!

Juanita, When you informed me about the sewage smell this was my response: "This is a problem originating from the street sewer system that runs next to the building. Last year, at the peak of the high season, it happened in several areas of the city due to the overflow. The city is always working to solve overflow issues on the high season." This was out of our control. I can tell you that the problem has been fixed now. I have been here since you left and there is no sewer smell anymore. I got informed that the city fixed the problem. About the fumigation I explained you that we were trying to stop the fumigation in our unit but we could not stop it in the whole building as fumigations are necessary and are scheduled by the Strata. As it was a Saturday and the management offices were not open, I told you I would get back to you on Monday to confirm that we stopped the fumigation in our unit. You never responded to my message and just left the place without even telling me. By the way on Monday the management told me that our unit was not going to be fumigated on Tuesday and we were going to pay out of our own pocket for the fumigation on another day. It is very important to us to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay; but you did not give us a chance to let you know the resolution. You did not let me know about the water. We have an in-house maintenance person on the property who takes care of anything regarding the property. I wish you could've told me and he would have taken care of it right away. You can see all our previous reviews have been 5 stars and raving about the beautiful property and complex. Yours is the only 1 star review that we've ever had and I personally feel that I explained to you and try to help where I could, considering that these circumstances were out of our control. As owners we frequent our place a lot and we have several returning guests who come back every year because they love the property, and they also stay for at least a month at a time as you did. Even better than expected

I spent a week, and am hoping to be back soon. This isapartment opens onto huge views of the Pacific. The WiFi allowed catching up on remote work. And a pool for an occasional swim. Joel and Maha were very helpful with questions. Some reviews had reported difficulty with the access road. All of Puerto Vallarta roads seem built on hilly cobblestones. Its about a 15 minute walk to town either along a beach trail or the road. Ubers and cabs to the city will pick you up at the door for, and I think it was US$3 or $4 for a ride into town. Enjoy!

Relaxing, great view, a few problems

Had an enjoyable 2 weeks in Maha’s condo. Overall the condo is good and pretty much as described in the listing but there are a few problems which I feel I need to comment on. Good points: - the ocean view is fantastic - condo is in the shade so stays cool - the condo is large and comfortable with indoor/outdoor living - there’s a day bed and pullout couch if more than 2 of you staying - the AC in the bedroom is very good - comfy big bed - Cuca the maid is great and there is daily cleaning - quiet, peaceful and beautiful spot Problems: - biggest challenge was the surrounding cobblestone streets and walking to town. Very hilly and tricky to walk. - no stores nearby except an Oxxo on the main road - kitchen pretty basic and fridge quite small - master shower very weak and hot water faucet in 2nd bathroom didn’t work - furnishings and bedding a bit old - some delays in responding to our requests The problems in the condo weren’t major ones and some guests may not have any difficulty with the hilly streets and cobblestones, although we did. We loved the Emiliano Zapata market for fresh fruits and veg, and Ley’s downtown is good for general foods.

Everything as advertised!

Very cute, comfortable, safe place! I booked it at the last minute because other family members were staying at the Sanyan, a couple of doors away. That said, streets are cobblestone and can be a bit challenging if it’s raining out. Getting back and forth to Sanyan took a little hiking down streets to beach, then back up thru security access to their condo. Checked for a shorter route but not possible. Not suitable if you aren’t in good physical shape. Only slept there. Would have appreciated coffee supplied in the unit as stores are a distance. The view is as amazing as the picture! A cup of coffee would have completed the mornings. Beautiful private pool available but I did not use it. Property is very well maintained and quiet.

Construction 🚧 🏗 🔨 The view is amazing but the construction next door kept me from staying at the room. I had to always plan something during the day so I didn’t gave to hear the whistles, drilling and yelling next door. Its a shame since the condo is very nice!

Sorry to hear the construction noise from the building next door was an annoyance and you had to stay away :( The completion date was set for November 2018, I guess there were some delays. That said the building is almost done and right now they are working on the outside finishings. I am confident that it will be done by the beginning of 2019. If you come back this way again next year, I can assure you there won't be construction. Thanks for your stay :)

Amazing views!

Maha was great in getting back to us. The view was amazing! The house had everything you need. Easy access to the beach and the bus stop was close to get into town. Also a great path to walk the beach to get into town. The only problem was the construction was awful and they even worked on the weekend. We would stay again for sure.

Definitely a million dollar view!

We love the condo, the view is spectacular, the area is wonderful, and Maya,the owner, is quick to respond to emails. The unfortunate part was there is a condo being built nearby and it was very noisy at times,but we realised this would not be a problem in the future.

Incredible accommodation, location, view and value

At no point do I want to share my review - as I will be giving away - the best secret in PV for accommodations. Owners are incredible, they really care about your experience ... and quick in responding to any inquiries. The location is convenient yet has a feel that you are separate from all the hustle. Quiet enough to sleep under the stars and/or have the pool relatively to yourself. The property is secure, clean and well-maintained. One of my best holidays!

The Zen Palace! Can't wait to go back!

This was the perfect spot for us. Tranquil setting, away from the hustle and bustle that is Vallarta. Yet, minutes away from everything you love about the town! The units gets lovely a breeze off the ocean and amazing sunsets right from your private patio. There is a pool to enjoy if you do not want the quiet Conchas/Amapas beach that is so close. Having a full kitchen was such a bonus, and then the daily cleaning! Will definitely want to rebook next visit!
