Excellent location and very nice place! Easy walk to all Bisbee has to offer. Great host as well! Just had a perfect stay over Labor Day weekend. Would definitely stay here again!
This casita has everything that you need! It is located in the perfect spot in Bisbee to have quiet evenings but within walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel through Bisbee.
This place by far exceeded my expectations! Super clean and spacious with excellent communication prior to check inMy go to place in Bisbee going forward!
For a short term rental, the kitchen was well equipped. There are several small shops nearby selling food and other consumables. The hosts were friendly and available.
The casita was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It's within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching all the birds in the courtyard. We highly recommend this place.
This is a perfect spot in Bisbee. Dog friendly and walkable to all the action. The place had all we needed. Great use of space; lots of really cool western motif touches. Just a great place to stay. Thanks for having us!
The host was very prompt with all communication and flexible with our check-in time. He came out to greet us when we arrived and made sure that we had a good place to park. The Casita was even more adorable in person and extremely comfortable. We were walking distance to every place we wanted to go. We wished we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back specifically to stay in this wonderful getaway.
Excellent, comfortable place near everything in Old Bisbee
Clean, and comfortable, with nice kitchen. A pocket door separates the bedroom from the kitchen and living room, so I could be up and about while my wife was sleeping. Great location, with adequate on-street parking.

About the host
Hosted by Shad Kvetko
Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, my wife and I have settled in Bisbee after spending 20 years in Texas where we owned and operated a James Beard nominated Mexican spirits bar and restaurant. While we no longer wanted to be in food and beverage, we love hospitality and creating unique spaces to share with others. I was raised in the antiques business and my wife is an artist. Both her work and pieces from my collection can be found in the unit.
Why they chose this property
We love the upper Brewery Gulch neighborhood for its history as the red light district of Bisbee, architecture and close proximity to food, nightlife and shopping while being just far enough to be quiet and tranquil. We also love the natural surroundings and hiking trails close by.
What makes this property unique
Our property is a former brothel and one of the few brick homes in the neighborhood. It is architecturally distinct and features a stone walled courtyard that has a petrified wood and rock garden, fountain and native and other plants to attract birds, butterflies and pollinators. It is also alleged to be haunted though they don’t bother anyone. We have been featured in several books and magazines including Bisbee’s Pioneer Homes, Haunted Bisbee, and recently Arizona Highways. We are on several tours including architecture, history and haunted tours.
