Lake Miltona is shallow on the north shore with a sandy bottom which makes it perfect for kayaks, paddleboards, floats, and swimming. The house is a short 1-minute drive from the public launch if you want to bring a boat or rent one to snag that trophy fish.

If you're looking for other types of recreation nearby, there are multiple golf courses, trails for hiking and biking, as well as the Carlos State Park Lazy River for tubing (unsupported). Your group can spend time together fishing, boating , swimming and sunning on the sandy shoreline. The two cabins were great for our family of 7. Also loved the option of renting the pontoon and exploring beautiful Lake Miltona! Would definitely recommend staying here.

A perfect weekend trip!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was perfect for both adults and kids, with beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, and plenty to do. The paddle boards, boat, and swimming entertained everyone, and the lake was clean and inviting. We had two families, and the big kids and littles had a blast. We also enjoyed the fishing from the dock and the lake. Very clean, very responsive, and the two cabins worked great for us. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an active and restful getaway.

Great place for golf weekend!

We have a group of college friends that have been golfing in the Brainerd area on the same weekend for over 25 years. We decided to change things up this year and golf the Alexandria area. These cabins were perfect for our stay! They were like new and very clean. The host replied very quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfy and overall the stay was great. We would definitely book the property again.

The compound rental was a great fit for our family. The cabins were very clean. The grandgirls like to have a smores night with a fire and the seating area was not level. Five of the swimmers got swimmers itch.other than that we all had a great time!! Thank you.

Perfect for our high school fishing team.

We booked this property for our high school fishing team who had a tournament on Lake Miltona on Sunday. Everything was brand new including the Blackstone! The host was great at communicating and let us keep our vehicles on the property a few hours after the scheduled check out time. Was also happy they provided coffee and filters.
