We were disappointed with our stay at this property. While the location was convenient and one of the positives, the condition of the home did not meet our expectations.The most noticeable issue was the strong odor throughout the house. It smelled heavily of mildew and dogs, which made it difficult to feel comfortable during our stay. The bedroom rug was also in poor condition, with sections that were worn away and exposed sharp tack strips, creating a safety hazard.There were visible signs of water damage, including bubbling on portions of the ceiling. When we arrived, the bed sheets did not appear to be freshly changed, so we washed them ourselves before using the bed.Communication could also be improved. There were very limited instructions for accessing the property, and no checkout instructions explaining how the owners expected the home to be left.With better maintenance, improved cleanliness, and clearer communication, this property has potential because the location is excellent. Unfortunately, the condition of the home and the strong odor significantly impacted our experience.
