About this property

Golfemar with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, airco, sea view. L.T.R. on request.

The property is fully air-conditioned and has been recently renovated.
The Villa has a modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, a large lounge and dining area which leads out into the terrace. There are 3 large bedrooms, one with en-suite and the other two with a separate sharing bathroom. Additionally, for those with small children, we do provide cots.
The pool area, includes a large main pool and a separate children's pool. We do provide pool/ beach towels so you don’t have to worry about it during your stay.
The Villa is situated within a short walking distance from 'Rocha Brava' which has many excellent restaurants.
The Vale de Milho Golf Club is also only a few minutes walk away.

We do recommend a rent a car during your stay insted of taking a taxi our bus if you want to explore the Algarve, but it is up to you of course.

The distance from the Faro airport is about 45minuts and from the Lisbon airport if you take the A2 is about two hours drive.

Golf: Golf
Our properties on the Clube Golfemar complex look out onto the beautiful Vale do Milho course. Rounds can be arranged through the Club House and discounted prices are available for those staying at Clube Golfemar. There are two more courses in Carvoeiro, these are Gramacho and Pinta and facilities here also include a driving range. The championship course at Penina a 20 minute drive away and the world famous Vilamoura is a 35 minute drive. Vale do Lobo is only a 40 minute drive away. If taking golf clubs, these may need to be notified to your airline. A half set is allowed per person but is included in the baggage allowance (20 kilos).



Restaurants - Bars - Nightlife: The many bars and restaurants offer all types of cuisine including Vietnamese, Italian, French and of course Portuguese, where you can enjoy an excellent meal of freshly caught fish and sample the famous inexpensive Portuguese wines. Prices vary so check the menu outside. All of the restaurants welcome children and some have special menu.

Water Sports
The waters around Algar Seco's rock formation are ideal for snorkelling. The School of Windsurfing at Praia Grande Ferraguda, just 10 minutes drive away has good facilities. Jet skiing, Catamaran sailing and Water-skiing can also be arranged.

Big Game Fishing
This can also be arranged through agents in the village.

Water Splash Parks
There are 2 within an easy drive of Carvoeiro. The Big One and Slide and Splash both have excursions from the village and are fantastic fun for all the family.


Beaches

Centianes beach is nearby and you can walk in about 15minuts.
Benagil beach for those who love water sports is perfect,
Marina beach is a beautiful one and nice for walk.
Around all the Algarve you can find beautiful beaches to discover… enjoy it.

Fantastic house and place

Perfect family venue

The villa worked very well for us. It was clean and a home from home. Isabel was very helpful with all of our questions and solved any issues quickly. We would definitely recommend this villa and complex.

Great holiday home

Comfortable clean everything you need, home from home. Beds comfortable, great view from the rooftop. Isabel the owner was quick to reply with any questions we had. Our house maid Cristina was accommodating and a lovely lady. We will be coming back again.

Haus, Lage, Umgebung sind gut, innerhalb einer sehr gepflegten Anlage. Das Haus ist ausreichend groß für 6 Personen und alles in allem ordentlich ausgestattet. Einige Dinge könnten verbessert werden. So fehlen in der Küche ein bis zwei große Töpfe. Auch eine Kaffee Maschine wäre schön. Die Kapsel Espressomaschine ist bei einer 6er Belegung nicht ausreichend. Alles in allem haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Danke an die Gastgeber.

Great simple little apartment for a family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is simple and maybe needs a bit of love - but a great base to have then go off and explore Carvoeiro and all the beautiful beaches along the coastline. You definitely need a car as quite far out and walking anywhere pretty dangerous with kids on the roads. Would be nice if there was another sofa in the apartment too as only 2 people can sit comfortably which doesnt allow any chilling with the family time,

Lovely house in a great location

Combination of a pool at the complex and good beaches in short driving distance made this a great place to stay with family and children (6 & 9). Excellent communication from the property owner. The house was well equipped regarding linen, washing and cooking facilities.

A casa é excelente, local extremamente tranquilo é muito bem equipada. O único senão está relacionado com o facto do anúncio inicialmente inclui a utilização da piscina mas a mesma não pode ser por estar concessionada a um privado. A proprietária arranjou outras alternativas mas noutros locais. Vale a pena para famílias.

Gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit toller Aussicht

Das Haus ist genauso wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Man hat sowohl von der unteren Terrasse als auch von der Dachterrasse eine tolle Aussicht. Der Pool selbst ist auch sehr groß und nach kurzem Fußweg zu erreichen. Wegen Covid19 waren die Poolzeiten leider etwas begrenzt. Darum sind wir lieber an die vielen schönen nahe liegenden Strand-Buchten gefahren.

onze Portugal vakantie

mooi gelegen woning, centraal en in de buurt van een paar heel gezellige en lekkere restaurants, auto is wel noodzakelijk om de omgeving te ontdekken, maar verkeer is zeer rustig op de snelwegen, rond de stadjes is er wat drukker verkeer. zeker een aanrader, we hebben ook fantastisch weer gehad, altijd buiten kunnen eten.

Beautiful villa, perfect and peaceful location

Booked a last minute family holiday, and found this villa online. Great communication with the owner from start to finish, would highly recommend. The villa had everything we needed for our summer holiday as described, and is set on a peaceful complex, with fantastic views. Only slight disappointment was the children’s play area pictured is no longer there and pool bar was closed, with poolside food and drinks not available until 12pm. We hired a car for the week which was handy for getting to the local supermarket (5 mins drive), although there is a smaller one within easy walking distance which is well stocked and provides everything you’d need. Good location on the Algarve, close to beaches, water parks, and Carverio, which we only visited briefly. Well worth it!

A lovely villa in a great location

Our weeks stay was very enjoyable. The check on process was easy, gaining access to the key via a key store by the front door using a. code. The villa was very clean and spacious for our family if 5. The facilities at the pool were ok- the pool bar was closed due to ongoing isssueas with the management. The Lighthouse restaurant by the pool was open in the evenings and the food was lovely. Other lovely restaurants within an easy walk or a short drive away. We visited some beautiful beaches and the lighthouse which is worth the short walk to get the fantastic views from the top. The roof terrace of the villa was great for star gazing at night and our stay was very enjoyable.

Great location but services not as outlined and owner did not resolve issues with any urgency

Villa is in great location we loved the local beaches, restaurants and attractions. The complex is also good with very nice pool. The villa layout is excellent, lots of space and great roof terrace. We were very disappointed though with the services provided. On arrival we reported to owner - that 3 of 4 air conditioning units did not work - the TV did not work - on the cooker only 1 of 4 hobs worked. It was only on day 13 of a 2 week holiday that new air conditioning was installed and a new TV. The cooker was never attended to.We did not feel the owner showed any urgency is putting these shortfalls right. Having paid a considerable premium on other properties for such facilities we felt very disappointed particularly with air con. The owner knew about the record temperatures being experienced in region and the fact we had children with us. We have tried to have dialogue with owner on return but they have shown no interest in communicating or giving any compensation for the lack of services provided. Such a shame our otherwise fantastic trip was spoiled by these experiences. We will be back to area but in a different property.
