About this property

Waterfront Beach house on private beach

We'd love to welcome you to our beach house with beautiful views of the Delaware Bay. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people and is just steps away from a private family-oriented beach. You'll sleep comfortably thanks to the help of our new central AC system.

At the private beach, you can bring along some cocktails, some music and even build bonfires at night. Wade in the water at the sand bars right in front of the house or read a book in the shade of an umbrella. Enjoy the sea breeze and the lull of the ocean waves with none of the mosquitoes in the screened-in porch or gaze at the stars on the upper observation deck.

While on vacation, still experience all the comforts of home with two 42-inch flat screen TVs with cable services, wireless high-speed Internet service that carries even to the beach! Dine out or enjoy a night in with everything you need to cook a family meal in the full kitchen and propane grill on the deck. You're able to pack light as we have a washer and dryer available in the house for your convenience.

We also have a sun umbrella, beach chairs, sand shovels and buckets, boogie boards, noodles and more in the shed. Bringing multiple cars? No problem. We have off Road parking for 5 to 6 cars.

Free WIFI and a powerful router means you can stream live music while relaxing on the beach!

Fantastic stay

The house was just as it was pictured and equipped with all the necessities. It was extremely helpful having beach chairs, umbrellas etc already provided. It is a very quiet, friendly neighborhood. Most days we were the only ones on the beach, definitely the place to go for down time and relaxation. Our family had a great time!

We had a great time at Jim’s place! The house is the perfect size for four adults and four kids. There was plenty of beach stuff which was much appreciated and the screened porch and outdoor shower were fantastic! Nice quiet beach but the fireworks shows were spectacular! Would definitely recommend!

We loved this place! So relaxing!

The location - right on the beach! - couldn't be better. Also, the screened porch that looked out on the beach allowed us to spend our whole time "on the beach," either literally on the beach (beautiful sunrises!) or eating, reading, relaxing in the screened porch. House is very roomy, very well stocked, and very comfortable. We liked this place so much, and the great communication with the owner, that we've already looked at dates to stay here again!

The view from the back deck was wonderful! My farther-in-law is not able to walk in the sand very well, but loved the beach. So he sat on the back deck almost the entire stay watching the ocean.

Another Perfect Stay at Primehook

This was our 3rd stay at this rental. It has quickly become one of our favorites! The house is perfect for the crew that travels with us - 4 adults and 3 children. I cannot say enough good things about it, from the beach and crabbing accessibility to enjoying the nights and mornings spent on the screened deck. The location is perfect for spending time at the private beach then driving to all of the other attractions- Cape May Lewes Ferry, dining, and Rehoboth boardwalk. We are already looking forward to booking our trip for next summer!

A Wave From It All

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Jim’s shore side home. The home was very clean when we checked in and we couldn’t have asked for a better host, and everything was there for our beach experience. The beach area is private and not crowded, away from beachgoers. The home is comfortable and very spacious, and the views are fantastic. I will be booking this place again.
