The rest of the yard around the house is more ornamental than practical but provides for some very charming curb appeal.

Love that the house worked out so nicely for you. Lewes is a special little town and we like to think that The Pink Lady offers a terrific location and is emblematic of the town's charm. Thank you!
The house is beautiful, easy walk to town and the beach. We took the ferry to Cape May which was a lot of fun. Staying at this home is extremely easy - fully stocked with everything you could need, the host was very responsive and organized. Truly a pleasure, we plan to come back in the future!
This house was beautiful and so clean. Christine was so accommodating with any of our requests. If you have a chance to stay there or you should do it. The pink lady did not disappoint.
This house had room for puzzles, games, formal dinner, post-beach relaxing... everything! And it was all lovely and beautifully kept. The owner was responsive and friendly. This was our best VRBO yet!
Really great stay in Lewes. The property was clean and comfortable for our group. Centrally located and the backyard was great for our big meals. Would recommend and hopefully we can stay again in the future!
We had a great stay at the Pink Lady; the house was in the perfect location for walking into town, the farmers market and even the beach. It was very spacious and the kids loved the fenced in backyard and all of the puzzles and games. Parking was very easy and the house was incredibly well stocked with supplies. Host was very communicative, would stay here again!

We try hard every year to be sure things are perfect for our guests, and upgrade consistently to be sure nobody is disappointed, and that everyone is happy. We know how precious a vacation is, whether a weekend away or a full week during the height of the summer. So happy to enjoyed your stay!
Our family of 8 adults stayed at the Pink Lady in Lewes Delaware. Home was outstanding, as was the location. Best house we have ever stayed in. We loved Lewes and would definitely return soon.

WOW, thanks for this review. I try my best to keep the house in great condition, and my guests all seem to respect and appreciate the house also. Love that you loved it!
The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed - from extra pillowcases to a spare hairdryer to every kitchen utensil and gadget we could want. The extra bicycles and beach gear were a great plus!

So glad it all worked out. We strive to make the home as comfortable as possible. While we will continue to offer beach chairs and towels, we won't have bikes next year, we only had a few at the house and bike upkeep and maintenance has become too much for us to handle. There are plenty of places in Lewes to rent bikes, and we've found that many guests bring their own.
This is a lovely, well-maintained property with a fully equipped kitchen which makes meal prep a snap. It is an easy walk to the charming shopping/restaurant district, walking path, etc, and an easy drive or bike ride to the beach. Very peaceful, quiet and pretty.

Thanks Nancy, I'm very happy to know that you enjoyed the house and town. I think you've captured it perfectly - peaceful, quiet and pretty. That's Lewes!
This was our second time staying at the Pink Lady, and again, it was great. Plenty of room for our multi-generational family to spread out, the house was well stocked, and the location is wonderful-- walking distance to town, and close to the beach. Highly recommended.

Thank you for this wonderful review. I love the house and town also, and I really enjoy sharing this special spot with others. You are very kind and we loved having you as our guest!
We loved everything about our stay here. Location was great. House is beautiful and well appointed. We could avoid the crowds at the beach when we wanted to and just enjoy beautiful historic Lewes. We were here to visit family at Beebe Medical Center and it was quicker to walk and not have to worry about parking at the hospital. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your kind review. I am so glad that it worked out so well for you and your family. The home location is excellent for exactly the reasons you mention -- you can get to the quaint shops and restaurants of 2nd St, it's easy to get to the beach, and it's just fine to stay at the house and enjoy! Thanks again, and come back soon!
We had a wonderful long weekend, lots of room to spread out with numerous amenities. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still had a wonderful time as there is plenty to do nearby. Plenty of shopping and eateries in Lewes, we will be back!

Yay, so glad you were able to make the best of it! Thank you so much for this lovely review.
We had a great time in this beautiful home. We had so much space to spread out and enjoyed the beautifully renovated bathrooms, central location (walked to several restaurants to eat outdoors), charming backyard (had crabs on the patio outside), and privacy. Beds were very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

Yay! So glad it all worked out. Summer seems like a long time ago, but hopefully the fun memories linger on. Thanks for your very nice review!
We had such a nice time staying at the Pink Lady--the location was ideal for us to walk to so many places and bay beach (where waves are tamer than the ocean) was perfect for the little ones. Lots of room for us--loved the skylights and historic blend. We'll go back!

I am so happy you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to having you back soon!
Everything about our stay was top notch. Beautiful, well-appointed home centrally located to town and the bay. We loved everything about our stay from morning coffee on the wrap-around porch to the cozy TV room and elegant dining room for pasta dinner with extended family who live in nearby Dewey. Loved the quaint little town as well. Great restaurants! House and gardens are gorgeous! Thank you!
Our stay at the Pink Lady couldn't have been nicer. The family (8 adults and 2 teens) were gathered for my father's memorial service. We all fit comfortably in the house. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find a quiet space or come together for games, meals and conversation. The kitchen was well stocked for everything we needed for meals. The children enjoyed the bikes and the proximity to town and the beach. We would love to come again under happier circumstances to explore the area and relax at this property.

We are so glad the house worked out well for you, thank you for this lovely review!
The Pinklady is a lovely and very comfortable house with lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed a backyard barbecue and some of our family used the available bikes. The kitchen is particularly well furnished with quality appliances and pots and pans and anything you need to cook a meal. Our family enjoyed our time there.

We are 3 couples who try different places to bike and enjoy getting the know the area. This house was situated within biking distance of the trails, walking distance of town and very near beaches..
The house was very quiet, well organized. and large enough for us all to gather. I would highly recommend staying here.

About the host
Hosted by Christine Rich
We've been coming to Lewes for well over 30 years and absolutely love it here. It's a special town and well-kept secret. When our children were young we found Lewes Beach to be the perfect sand-castle building spot. Now that they are older, they still enjoy the beach but also take full advantage of the kayaking, fishing, bicycling and shopping options around town. We never run out of things to do or places to explore in Lewes. When we need a little more hustle-bustle we head over to Rehoboth for the boardwalk (Funland is the favorite boardwalk attraction) but we are always very happy to return to Lewes.
Why they chose this property
On one of my early trips to Lewes I noticed this house, and more importantly all the fun that people were having on the porch, and fell in love with it immediately. It just looked like a fun, comfortable place to be, and it became my dream to own a place like this. When this very house was listed for sale it was a dream come true. I am thrilled to be able to share this special home with others.
What makes this property unique
I want to make this home comfortable and inviting for all who visit it. We've furnished it with a combination of lovely antiques and high-end new furniture. We always welcome your feedback in order to make the home even better, and we are confident you will enjoy your stay.
