This 1 bedroom unit is a must see place for escaping the city. Located in Mission Lakes community with swimming pool, golfing and family fun. Updated in 2009 with wood flooring, kitchen cabinets, updated bathroom, double pain windows, French doors in the bedroom.

This condo features a fully equipped kitchen, living room with 40 inch TV, Apple TV and couch, great patio with great view of the mountain and amazing sunset, outdoor park with flowers and plants with barbecue area where you can enjoy a meal. The sofa can be opened to turn into a second bed.

Additional features include central heating and air conditioning, wireless internet, heated swimming pool, hot tub, free parking, available laundry facilities and more.

Nested in a quiet and very convenient area at the bottom of the mountain in a golf course community close to the 10 only 10 minutes from shopping area, grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacy in downtown Desert Hot Springs. Only 15 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. Convenient parking is available. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool and the hot tub. The swimming pool is heated.

Hike in the astonishing scenery, visit Joshua Tree park or even relax in the natural hot springs.
Easy access to downtown Palm Springs in 15 min, Palm
springs Airport in 15 min or Los Angeles in about 2 hours.

Desert hot springs

Nice location, very quiet and easy access to Palm Springs. We had all the amenities needed for our 5 day stay.There were some heavy footed residence above us at 5 am each morning, but otherwise the complex was fine.

Disappointed we couldn't enjoy any fresh air.

I dont like leaving poor or mild reviews but need to be honest...Neighbors ruined our stay, we couldn't leave screen doors open because they were smoking weed 24/7 and all we smelled morning noon and night was weed.My husband said its like rooming with a skunk.. I know they cant control what the neighbors do but we wouldn't stay here again.

Disappointed

The unit is basically falling apart , cabinet doors hang wide open the floor is lifting up ceiling is cracking ect , if you use the heat/ac or bath fan the unit smells strongly like cigarette smoke . The walls are paper thin and the neighbours are very loud and would play music or argue into the night . We where quite disappointed the pictures and reviews made it seem much nicer than in was .

THE HOME WAS IN IMMACULATE CONDITION. THE OWNER WAS PROMPT TO RESPOND WHEN I INFORMED HIM OF OUR ARRIVAL TO THE PROPERTY; HOWEVER, WHEN I MESSAGED HIM TO LET HIM KNOW THAT WE HAD LEFT THE PROPERTY AND MENTIONED HOW SATISFIED WE WERE, I NEVER RECEIVED ANY REPLIES BACK. OTHER THAN THAT, OUR STAY WAS THE BEST EVER! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WE MOST DEFINITELY WILL BE THINKING OF COMING BACK SOON!

Great Snowbird Getaway

We had a great stay, the condo was very comfortable for the two of us. Location was great, easy access to whatever we wanted. Pool and hot tub made the stay very enjoyable. The owners were very attentive and helpful with any questions we had.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The location is convenient to Palm Springs (15 minutes) but a quiet neighborhood. Amenities are a plus to a relaxing stay. We had a glitch with the electronic lock but the owner was responsive to get things resolved.

FIRST TIMERS IN PALM SPRINGS

This was our first visit to Palm Springs and found it to be incredibly beautiful, especially Joshua Tree National Park, a short drive from this condo. However we would probably not choose to stay here again as we found it a little out of the way. Our choice, should we return, would be the Central Palm Springs area or the La Quinta area. The condo was reasonably comfortable but was in need of a good cleaning. The area was incredibly windy (windmills everywhere) so much so that sitting by the pool for a few hours was out of the question. Palm Springs sits protected out of the mainstream, and was always calmer. A car is an absolute must for this location.

The condo was comfortable

We stayed in the condo at Mission Lakes and found the stay enjoyable. There are some maintenance issues that should be taken care of, namely, the microwave oven (handle was broken but still able to use) and also the door entry looks like it should be replaced. Also, we had an issue with the digital adapter for the TV, hopefully it has been taken care of by now. Overall, I would probably recommend this property to a couple. The pool was very close to the unit and so was the laundry. If we were down in the Palm Springs area, we would probably take a look at the rental again from Pascal.

A very enjoyable stay

The condo is located in a very quiet neighborhood in Desert Hot Springs, but is only about 20 minutes from most of the attractions & downtown Palm Springs so we never felt that is was too far out of the way. Our favorite part about this unit was that it included access to the country club just a couple minutes up the road. The condo complex has a pool, but the country club pool is much larger, nicer, and surprisingly not at all busy during our stay. There were also tennis courts that we made use of several times and a golf course that can be enjoyed for an additional fee. The unit itself was small, but still larger than a typical hotel room and having a full kitchen is a huge bonus compared to a hotel. The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our only minor complaint was that the units are somewhat creaky and not particularly well insulated so we could hear every movement from our upstairs neighbors, however, this was not too big of an issue for us and we were still quite pleased with our choice. We never met the owner Pascal in person, but he was very friendly and accommodating when we spoke on the phone and via email. The price was reasonable and we would happily stay here again.
