Shops were nearby, we never got a chance to look at them. Honestly a really great house to stay at, the only bad part was the driveway, it’s very thin!

I liked the house and the location was perfect for me but there is room for improvement. 1. The stairs have no handrails!! They are a lawsuit waiting to happen. How people have carried a heavy suitcase down those shallow steps without falling so far is a miracle. All the stairs and exterior steps need handrails 2. The only grounded outlets are in the bathrooms and kitchen. In all other rooms outlets are very scarce, and ungrounded.Other Improvements: - Provide a toaster or toaster oven. I didn’t find one. How else do you make toast? - Supply something to drink out of in the bathrooms other than your cupped hands.- have a luggage rack or bench so your suitcase is not on the floor - have at least 1 chair per bedroom.- nice if you could open a window for fresh air. None that I tried could open. - hang some colorful images. There are none.- install grab bars in the shower- have a binder containing useful information. Instructions for the house and appliances. Like how to raise the shades or use the TV upstairs. Menus from local restaurants and a local publication with upcoming events, festivals, markets, entertainment, etc. would be appreciated.- so would a box of tissues in the bathroom - and finally, the 170 cleaning fee should include the emptying of wastebaskets, not to mention taking a loaded trash can to the street. I couldn't have gotten it there if I'd wanted to. Speaking of trash, put a wastebasket in every room. - but first INSTALL THE HANDRAILS!
