Welcome to The Dawg House, the premier Indianapolis pop art rental celebrating Bulldogs. Located just a short walk from Butler University campus, this three bedroom house features over-the-top amenities and luxurious creature comforts to make your stay memorable.

Come play in our arcade featuring over 200 classic arcade games, pop-a-shot and more. Or sample our house vinyl collection on the turntable with a selection of new and vintage records from artists spanning the decades. Or sit and relax by the fire on our spacious front patio. The choice is yours.

Our newly renovated three bedroom, two full bath house easily sleeps six and can can accommodate additional guests with our 21 inch queen size inflatable air mattress. Each bedroom comes with a 14-inch memory foam mattress featuring orthopedic pressure relief and cool gel tech for a great night's sleep.

The rooms are tech-forward and host plenty of bedside charging ports for your electronics, super fast Wi-Fi, remote controlled ceiling fan lighting and ample room for your wardrobe along with blackout window shades to make them the prefect space for you to rest, unwind and recharge.

Our bathrooms feature a rain shower to relax and wash away the worries of the day. The anti-fog heated mirrors come with built-in adjustable lighting for daytime or evening makeup applications. The LED faucets light up to indicate the water temp. Ample, ultrasoft hotel quality towels are always provided.

The living room boasts a new Samusung Utlra HD tv and an electronic fireplace that can give off heat or no heat to just offer visual ambiance for a beautiful evening in.

Conveniently located with a short uber ride to many Indianapolis landmarks, downtown businesses and tourist attractions. Also a perfect space for visiting Butler alumni, professors, family and traveling professionals. Has great proximity to the interstates, Indianapolis hospitals and Universities.

We are also just 5 minutes away from the locally owned cafes, shops and nightlife of Illinois St and Broad Ripple.

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. The home was very clean and clearly well maintained, which made it comfortable and relaxing from the moment we arrived.The owner was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process—quick to answer questions before booking, helpful leading up to our arrival, and readily available during our stay. That level of communication made everything seamless and stress-free.We especially appreciated the many thoughtful amenities that made us feel truly welcome. The welcome bag of goodies (assorted candy, fruit snacks, a notepad and pen, etc.) was such a nice touch. The coffee setup was also excellent, with both pods and ground coffee available, along with creamer, sugar, and sugar-free options—everything you could need.We traveled with our teenage grandsons, and they absolutely loved the game room. The appliances throughout the home were high quality and very easy to use, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Check-in and check-out instructions were simple and straightforward, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish.We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and this was by far the most welcoming and responsive one we’ve experienced. We would gladly stay here again!

Great place

This was a great place to stay. We had several activities planned in Indy and this was in the center off all of them. The space worked well for the six members of our family that were there. Quiet street and neighborhood. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to stay in this area.

Great, quiet stay

The house was very convenient to activities. It was cute and very clean. I appreciated the highchair and pack n play for our baby!My only criticism is my toddler couldn't help himself wanting to pick up every figurine. We had to put most of them away to prevent him from breaking them. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

This house was awesome! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the arcade, the fire pit, and the dog theme. Everything was very clean and up to date. Everything we needed and more was provided to help us enjoy our stay. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area in the future.

Great Stay

Communication before arriving was great. The place was so fun and my daughter loved it since she attends Butler. Excellent renovation of an older house in the Broad Ripple area. Very clean. Only downside is no washer/dryer. But still give 5 stars because of everything else. Safe location and would definitely stay again.

In the Dawghouse for Detroit Lions football game!!!

The place is so cute!! We didn’t understand the name originally but it doesn’t take long to figure it out. It was perfect for 6 adults. Super clean. Reserving and getting into the unit was easy. Great communication. We loved the pay per snack option. Great idea!!!! Love it and we won!!

Perfect Spot for a Butler Graduation Stay

We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation from Butler and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is fantastic, with an easy walk to everything on campus, including Hinkle Fieldhouse (less than 12 minutes). The house is absolutely decked out in Butler pride, definitely the most themed-out VRBO we’ve stayed in, with bulldogs and swag everywhere.It’s an older home, so it has that creaky, charming character, original wood floors and all, but we loved that about it. It fits right in with the surrounding neighborhood and has a lot of personality. Beds were comfortable, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s not a luxury property, but that’s not what we were looking for either. It was well thought out, clean, and organized.Our favorite part was the front porch, perfect for enjoying the beautiful May weather (especially nice coming from Florida humidity). A surprising bonus: they had snacks and drinks for sale at very reasonable prices, which came in handy during our 4-day stay.Overall, a great value and a perfect home base for our family of six. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Butler.
