Great Condo and beach resort!!

Condo was perfect! Very roomy, comfortable and clean! Love the balcony and beach view. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to easily cook a lot! Reserve beach chairs far in advance if you want to get a front row spot. Everything at the resort was very clean and beautiful! Kids activities every night on the village lawn with great food trucks! Really loved this place and would love to return every year.

Perfect

Your place was absolutely beautiful !! It was decorated so nicely, it had really comfortable furniture and it had everything you could possible need . I tried to find out what brand the sheets and comforter were in the master bedroom because they were the softest I have ever felt. It was so peaceful sitting out on the balcony in the morning drinking my coffee and looking out over the water. I will definitely recommend it to anyone coming your way. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

Amazing stay!

This was a wonderful room. I typically struggle to sleep outside of my home but I didn’t. The bed was soft! The room was bigger than some other rooms we’ve stayed at here and it was nice to have access to an extra chair for the beach in the storage area.

Beautiful Ocean View

Condo was very upscale with updated furniture and a wonderful balcony that could be accessed from the master bedroom and the living room. Gorgeous view from the 8th floor and easy access to the beach. Dinner in the Beach Club was excellent. We enjoy a gated resort community with security. Fort Morgan was ideal and less crowded but close enough to great restaurants, shops, etc. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and comfortable

We had such a pleasant relaxing stay here. The view of the beach is amazing. The decor is really nice and the den furniture very comfortable- has two leather recliners and a comfortable sofa. The master bed is very soft (however, we prefer a firmer mattress). There were a few minor things that we mentioned to the management that I’m sure will be repaired before the next guests arrive. I’d highly recommend staying here. Ms Martin makes the renting process easy to navigate and is very helpful and quick to answer questions.

Beautiful, private beaches

When arriving at our condo, we knew right away that this condo was perfect. The decor and beachy feel was perfect, large balcony, comfortable furniture. The time of the year we stayed was perfect, a bit chilly and windy at time but overall great! Hardly anyone on the resort and beach, basically had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. The shower head in the smaller bathroom is cracked though where it should attach, and fell on one of my friends at least 3 times... Not a good way to enjoy a shower. Also in the master bath, I could not transfer the water flow from the detachable shower head to the large one. Only 1 trash bag was available to use.. and even for only 2 nights, we needed more, especially being expected to remove all trash. Overall, it was a great experience!

October Get Away

My husband and I came down for a get away in Oct 2024. The entry process was very easy with the keyless entry. Directions provide were easy to follow. Condo accommodations were exactly as pictured and described. It was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the lounge chairs on the balcony as well as the small table to watch for dolphins and listen to the waves. There was a closet by the front door filled with a beach cart, umbrellas, boogie boards and a few chairs. Very nice surprise as I didn’t remember seeing that in the description. The complex amenities were great with 3 pools tennis & pickle ball courts, walking trail, on site restaurants. We particular enjoyed the Tiki bar at the clubhouse which is the pool side bar and grill. The pool at the clubhouse was a little crowded, but the Tiki bar has a beach side window where food and drinks could be ordered. During certain months, they have food trucks on sight for other options. We dined at the multiple Sassy Bass restaurants located along Ft Morgan Rd. I would highly recommend. We will definitely return!

Our stay

I love staying here except for the beds and no towels. The mattresses have to be replaced. Our backs hurt every morning. Mattresses are so cheap so it shouldn't be hard to replace. I also had only two towels no wash clothes or hand towel when I arrived; just two. I had to convince the housekeepers that I was right on four different text. They seem not to believe me. I don't know why they questioned me. They then told me they had a shortage. Finally on the second or third day I planned to dry my wet bathing suit to find the towels in the dryer. Other than that I loved being at the beach.

Very nice place.

Place was very nice. Nicer than we expected. The master bedroom door was not attached to the hinges and when we opened the door to the back porch the wind blew it down. It fell into the floor. Luckily our 2 years old wasn’t standing close by. We made the person we booked it with aware of the broken door. They sent a maintenance person out the next day to fix it. Unfortunately our 2 year old was napping so they were unable to fix the door. The door didn’t really inconvenience us. So that’s why I left a 5 star review. I am surprised the door was left like that though. The door was just propped up against the door frame like it would have been if it were attached. It was basically a accident waiting to happen. I left this detailed review about the door because I think they should have removed the door if it was broken instead of leaving it like that. It could have fallen on our child.

Nice but dirty

Overall we enjoyed the stay once we got comfortable. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found the closet door in the guest room off the track. Of course, I repaired it. The towel rack in the guest bathroom was off the wall. Unfortunately I could not fix that, as I didn’t have the proper tools. The floor all over the condo was excessively dirty with stains, hair and sand. The countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms and bathroom drawers were soiled with hair and smudges. The shower curtain liners were stained and pretty gross. We spent a good portion of time upon our arrival just cleaning. We mopped and swept the floors and bleached all the surfaces. The bed linens were clean, but the spare linens (blankets and such) were obviously not clean so we washed them Before using them as well. After getting the place cleaned up, we had a great time. The soap holder in the dishwasher does not open during the wash cycle so the soap oozes all over the silverware and does not distribute properly. This may be an easy fix, but was another small but noticeable inconvenience.

Great place!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores and this place was great! A few steps from the pool and beach. We saw dolphins almost every morning from the balcony!!! The host did a good job communicating what the unit had/didn’t have so we were prepared for what we needed to buy. The resort is large so the beach (SO many umbrellas for rent) and pool are generally packed, but was quiet after 10pm. We were excited for the fitness center and entertainment room when booking this property, not realizing it was an extra charge. With that being said, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
