The resort is located on Canaan Mountain at the north end of Canaan Valley between Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley State Park. It is only four miles from the town of Davis, WV. Memorial Day weekend

Enjoyed our stay. Host was easy to communicate with. Large room with comfortable king size bed. Bathroom was clean and lots of towels provided. Great Bear Resort is a nice property.
